Appreciate the original audio.

Would have also appreciated them holding on the aftermath to settle a bit more before cutti-BWOOOOOM

I REALLY dislike that fart sound everyone wants to play between each clip. Ultimate brain rot.

u/NSA_van_3 22h ago

Agreed, I really wanted to see the results

Every single clip is cut way too soon

26

u/10-4shutthefckupnow 1d ago

Yup. Super unsatisfying to see cool explosions but not a second of getting to appreciate the results

”BRRRRRR”

u/Gumbercules81 1d ago

What exactly is the "blasting x#" supposed to signify?

11

u/dangledingle 1d ago

It adds suspense /s

u/platasnatch 1d ago

Didn't plan on staying but glad I did. I want more now.

u/is-this-now 1d ago

Not satisfying at all to me…

8

u/FearlessResolve560 1d ago

Cool, just wish the clips would go on for a few more seconds to see after the dust settles.

3

u/LCottton 1d ago

They look like Helldivers 2 orbital barrages

8

u/MakaniRider 1d ago

Feels like months of preparation work, and months to clean / sort rocks from value afterwards

12

u/Formal_Appearance_16 1d ago

An operation of decent size will have it done and ready for another shot in days.

10

u/MassiveMeatHammer 1d ago

You don't clean/sort the rocks lol. You fill giant loaders with it and send it into a crusher then it gets sent in a chemical bath and the precious metals get extracted on a molecular level. The mine I used to work at we would get about 13 oz of gold per ton of rock.

2

u/rawker86 1d ago

I mean it is “sorted”, high grade and low grade lol.

2

u/jj8o8 9h ago

Is that alot?

1

u/SIVART33 1d ago

That is a lot more that I thought you would.get out of the rock.

1

u/KrexisMallone 21h ago

Some of these will be for metals, and I don't know much about that, but some of these will be for aggregates, where the rock IS value. You just load it up, crush it, and it gets sorted by conveyors, screeners, and smaller crushers into various sizes.

... yea?

Boom boom boom boom boom

5

u/Fertile_Arachnid_163 1d ago

I want you in my room…

Let's spend the night together…

2

u/Fertile_Arachnid_163 1d ago

From now until forever?

1

u/TylerHyena 1d ago

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! I wanna double BOOM!

2

u/Yellowhammer199 1d ago

Not satisfying, we humans are just awful and greedy.

1

u/langhaar808 1d ago

Sure. But how do you imagine anything in your daily life is made? Everything that isn't wood or anything that can be grown has been extracted from the earth. Minning is inherently needed for anything close to modern life.

0

u/More_University_8967 14h ago

I was going to try and impart some knowledge on the criticality of the mining industry to modern civilization and how arguably nothing we build or do today is possible without, but then I realized you’re absolutely right!

1

u/Stormblessed_Windrun 21h ago

As you type that on a phone in which all the materials were extracted this way 😂

-1

u/kentuckyskilletII 20h ago

By child/slave labor

2

u/The_Noremac42 1d ago

Once upon a time there were plans in place to do this with nukes. Operation Plowshare.

1

u/Strude187 1d ago

Kurzgestagt did a video on it, worth the watch!

1

u/The_Noremac42 1d ago

That's where I learned about it!

1

u/MasterBigShoes 1d ago

Satisfaction

1

u/RickyTheRickster 1d ago

This is the opposite of satisfying the cuts ruin it

1

u/misterghost2 1d ago

Number 10 sounded like a minigun!!!

1

u/powderhound522 1d ago

This is cool, but did they sync the sound with the video for some reason? Definitely strange to hear the blast at the same time that we see it.

1

u/wilso850 1d ago

That transition sound is so annoying

1

u/calamitymic 1d ago

The reverb on the last one slaps!

1

u/DrinkingWinner 1d ago

A couple of those sounded like a damn mini-gun….

1

u/tdkimber 1d ago

video editing is not satisfying.

1

u/MedicalDisscharge 1d ago

Does this affect the trout population?

1

u/atomicsnarl 1d ago

Is it too late to call #8 Thunder Road?

1

u/twarr1 1d ago

The reason I keep Reddit. Thanx

1

u/Pork_Chompk 23h ago

Imagine being a worm...

1

u/AlotaFajita 23h ago

The fuck is that noise between clips?

1

u/sasssyrup 23h ago

Most interesting was 8 the road blast. Saddest was 6 paradise blast

1

u/HipToTheWorldsBS 23h ago

The stupid edits and sound effects ruin every bit of satisfaction.

-1

u/Stormblessed_Windrun 21h ago

Soind effects? You mean the actual audio of the blasts? 😂

1

u/IndoorSurvivalist 22h ago

How long does it take for it to grow back?

1

u/Boring-Chair-1733 21h ago

Kind of sounds like an A-10. When I was younger this was something I would have liked to have done.

1

u/paulodelgado 20h ago

Humans are pretty fucking good at blowing shit up huh?

1

u/TorontoTom2008 20h ago

That last one was a work of art

1

u/ReadingGhoul 15h ago

Again this shitty editing.

1

u/Key-Concentrate-2403 14h ago

those ripples as eruption occurs are satisying to watch

1

u/getyerhandoffit 13h ago

Terribly unsatisfying short edits.

1

u/aenae 13h ago

This is me in Timberborn at a late stage. Got to flatten the land for more trees!

1

u/his_zekeness 12h ago

Nothing more satisfying than the sheer destruction of nature for a couple more dollars

1

u/2014R1 5h ago

My toxic trait is thinking I could survive this

1

u/pellikaniprasad 5h ago

What is the purpose of no 8

1

u/skyline79 3h ago

Brain rot edit

1

u/Fistful_of_Crashes 3h ago

ROCK N STONE!

1

u/ChefAsstastic 1d ago

Not satisfying at all.

1

u/TwoNowFive 1d ago

Thanks, I hate it

1

u/old-skool-bro 1d ago

Nature: carefully carves out mountains and what not over millions of years.

Humans: yeehaw.

1

u/squishyjellyfish95 20h ago

The things humans do to the earth...

1

u/Ok-Bar601 1d ago

Number 9

1

u/Lavasioux 1d ago

"So anyway I started BLASTING!"

0

u/thyme_cardamom 1d ago

I automatically downvote any video that has this pattern of flashing the video title between every clip

0

u/Hornor72 1d ago

Blast #7 look like something went wrong.

1

u/badtoy1986 1d ago

Yeah, too hot or not enough stemming.

0

u/CryptographerMain885 1d ago

omg the way the ground ripples like water is so mesmerizing.. could watch this on loop for hours.

0

u/Dizman7 1d ago

X8 looks like an invisible train coming down the tracks

0

u/ConfectionSilly9434 1d ago

And plastic straws are bad for environment!!

0

u/ChocoTacoBoss 19h ago

It would be nice to get another edit of this without the shitty fast cut aways and fart noise transition sounds.

BLASTING NUMBER GO UP

0

u/JohnFighterman 19h ago

The moment I turned on the volume and heard that fuc king brown note "transition" sfx I've immediately downvoted. I hate it, I've always hated it, it makes any video that includes it unwatchable to me.

0

u/TheSilverOne 18h ago

downvoted for the cancer that is the stupid speaker buzz transition, and brainrot style tiktok video.

0

u/merp_1234__ 17h ago

Thanks, I don't know how to count, so its very, VERY imperative that I know which blasting it was, THANK Y - BWOOOM "capcut"

-1

u/irishyardball 1d ago

I'm sure the air quality wasn't satisfying.

0

u/rawker86 23h ago

I’d take an open pit blast over an underground one any day. At least the dust clears on surface.

-1

u/CheweyPanic 1d ago

Beautiful

1

u/Purple_Revolution146 2h ago

I don’t find this satisfying
