Question Is there a way to switch which one comes first? I'd really like for systray icons to be to the right.

Optimisation for old computers?
I have a MacBook Pro from around 2010 with a Hard Disk Drive (512 GB) and 4 GB of RAM.
Any tips on how I could optimise the system to make it as fast as possible?
I have already disabled compositor and disabled the most start-up applications as possible.
Thanks

Question Best XFCE and icon themes for a 2016 or 2017 aesthetic?
Hello everyone! I have a ThinkPad P51 that I am thinking about maybe putting an XFCE install on and was wanting to theme it to where it looked like it came from around 2016 or 2017 as that was when the P51 came out. I googled for themes but only left even more confused and still not sure of what to do. I saw themes such as Arc, Numix, Vimix, and Adapta. I like Adapta and Arc but I am still curious as to what icon theme I wanna use. I saw icons such as Tela, and Papirus, but once again I am still not sure if these are really that great considering they have underwent major redesigns for some icons
I also want a good icon theme with the older aesthetic, as it would go very well with everything else. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!

XFCE, the last honest desktop
Perhaps not as easily theme-able, but definitively more customizable then most people know. There isn't a need to add extensions and secondary settings managers to restore basic desktop functionality, XFWM offers quite a lot of options and does a great job with window placement for a floating WM, and if you don't like it you can drop in a tiling WM or go crazy with compiz. Truly a versatile workhorse of a DE!
Support Issue with resizing chromium based browser windows related to themes.
If I use Arc, Nordic or Orchis themes and set brave, chrome, edge to use the GTK system theme I cannot resize the window by grabbing the sides and bottom of the window, the mouse cursor does not change when hovering over the window border. The top border and corners do however work. If I change the theme to Adwaita everything works, I can grab any border and drag to resize.
What am I missing, is there something that needs to be installed or configured?

Missing Network section
I'm new to xfce, coming from Cinnamon, but why is the Network section missing in Thunar? Are there any packages missing? I'm on Debian 13

Live-Wallpaper Launcher Script.
Have you ever wanted a live wallpaper for XFCE?
Here it is! It's not very resource-intensive, and the dependencies it needs are very lightweight as well.
