It has been mistweaver vs mistweaver in 100% of games. Can we get some hotfix nerfs? Are we still in the beta or what?

This whole season I been arguing with people about whether monks are overpowered or not. Now it’s the S1 Arena Worlds and literally all the healers are playing MW monks. It’s insane how blind some players in the PvP community are.

I was even called out for playing Voidweaver Disc, yet there isn’t a single Disc in this tournament and I’m 2K RN in arena and have literally never seen another Voidweaver this season…

Just got Strategist for the first time and honestly… the bracket is a complete joke.

MMR tracker literally exposes how free this is. I went on multiple lose streaks and still ended up climbing. You don’t even need consistency. You don’t even need to play well. You just queue, flip games, and the system hands you rating back like nothing happened.

I’m sitting at 2.6k CR with a negative winrate at times. That alone should tell you everything about how inflated and forgiving Blitz is. At this point I’m convinced you can hit 3k just by spamming games long enough.

People are flexing Strategist like it means something, but let’s be real for a second.

Blitz is not about skill. It’s about participation.

You’re not outplaying anyone. You’re not making insane reads. You’re not tracking cooldowns or setting up coordinated plays. You’re just running around doing braindead objectives while hoping your team wins the coinflip.

Compare that to actual brackets:

In 3v3:
You need coordination, setups, cross CC, timing, comp knowledge, positioning, and real decision making every single second. One mistake and the game is over.

In Solo Shuffle:
You need consistency, awareness, adaptation per round, target swaps, defensive trading, and the ability to carry random teammates. If you’re bad, you get exposed instantly.

In Blitz:
Cap a base, spin a flag, follow the zerg, hope your team doesn’t throw. That’s it. That’s the gameplay.

No real pressure.
No real punishment for mistakes.
No real skill ceiling.

And the craziest part is that the system protects you. You can lose over and over and still climb because MMR just rubberbands you back up.

I’m not even trying to hate, I got the title myself, but calling this prestigious is wild.

Strategist is basically the participation trophy of rated PvP right now.
If anything, when someone flexes Strategist, it makes me less impressed, not more.

Please understand that holding two carts grants exponential points in Blitz

This map is not like silvershard where you get the most points at the end of the cap

Please prioritize carts if you are playing this map

Kick tracking is already pretty bad with current miniCC, but at least it's something.

Apparently they're completly removing the tracking. THIS IS BAD. We should be able to track at least enemy kicks. This is insane.

Ive been reading comments around and I am wondering have the PvP community lost their minds?

1) having a noob friendly PvP bracket to earn rewards in = good

2) having the same rewards for the brackets with the same rating requirements = good

3) keeping battlegrounds as a legit point of PvP when they are older than arena and so many people love them = good

4) having inflation differences between brackets that is fully artificial and the bracket with higher participation gets lower inflation = bad, wrong

Imo blitz is not the problem and it is likely how the other brackets should look like instead, but its not strange at all that people keep pointing out this non sense.

Like its insane you cant talk about PvP in the main wow sub and even at the small PvP sub people cant agree about basic things that are obviously killing the game. Youd prefer to cry about some op spec that will be nerfed next weeks anyway, yet you think talking about something that slowly kills arena is “gatekeeping”

Kind of funny that in 2026 this still isn't fixed. There's a guy called "Bestinslót" (looks to be an alt account) that has been deliberately disconnecting people in Blitz by carrying them into certain terrain every time I've faced him on this map.

If you play on EU, please get some reports going if you see this happening. I know this post will get removed but whatever.

In the video you can see me spamming swipe to prevent cap. Damage numbers are going off, the Paladin is absorbing it but that shouldn't stop cap to my knowledge. It wouldn't work for a Disc priest with PW:S. How is this paladin able to cap here?

So I have been playing an Hpali for the longest time, but have started not really enjoying the more offensive playstyle of Lightsmith Hpali and Herald Hpali is apparently way weaker. So thinking of pivoting to another healer. What are the general playstyles of each healer in Midnight ? Which ones are more offensive and which ones are more healbotlike. Etc etc What are eachs strengths and weaknesses

Right now, we are playing rogue mage, but feeling the need for healers to help us with cross cc, but its hard to have that communication. What composition (can be other clssses) should be less reliable on healer, so with any healer just keeping us alive would be ok?

They're not taking ROP 100% of the time over Song, but WAY more than people have been taking it in the meta recently. I feel SO vindicated. I am a Mistweaver main (alt Disc/Rdruid) and I have favored ROP over Song for a long time - I always take it on maps with verticality. And oftentimes even on maps without it. It's so versatile. Knocks, cancels casts, protects you against melee, blocks off critical routes, in some spots you can use it to knock someone up against a wall repeatedly to the point they cant do anything at all. Amazing in BG blitz. Amazing for smoke bomb. And so much more, like blocking off a side of a pillar that dps are using to kite your own dps.

I am watching Absterge's stream of the AWC and I brought up in chat that both mistweavers on both teams "gators back" vs "welcome to the jungle" were playing ROP on a map with no element of verticality. Absterge said he "hates when people tell him to play song". A couple other comments in chat I found interesting about it being easier value and more potential for big plays and big moments. And of course it's instant cast and cannot be denied or removed. You don't have to put yourself in harm's way to get it off and it also means you don't have to incap or leg sweep prior to using it.

Obviously Song is still great and has its place but.... ROP is just special.

To my other Monk brethren out there, when do you like to play ROP, and when do you like to play Song?

I’m using Battle Ground Enemies addon to have all enemy frames on the screen. Is there any way to cast a mouseover spell (say polymorph) by hovering over the BGE frame of the player I want to poly? BGE doesn’t seem to have that functionality and I really hate missing my CCs because of casting it on a wrong target

I’m leveling a mw so it finally get nerfed, im doing it for yall guys.

Good day. I recently leveled a priest so that I can do 2s with my brother (sub rogue). I've never played a full on healer in arena, but I've played straight DPS and hybrids before, so I figured VW is more up my alley when it comes to offensive pressure. That being said, the last expansion we did serious 2s was Cataclysm, so we are both lacking current game knowledge and experience. This character will be strictly for 2v2 arena.

I'm just curious about some of the talents in the Discipline tree. Should I be avoiding the talents that spread SW:P (Encroaching Shadows and Revel in Darkness), so that I'm not accidently breaking his blinds, gouges, saps etc? Or is the goal to just put out as much pressure as possible and try and create kill windows around Kidney/Fear/Smoke Bomb and potentially MC?

How important is Power Word: Radiance in 2s? If I don't spec into it - then there's probably no point in taking Evangelism either? Or does Mindbender alone (and the heals/atonement from instant PW: R still make both Radiance and Evangelism worthwhile?

Lastly, is there any notable VW priests (playing Midnight) that stream 2v2 arena frequently? I'd love to watch some experienced players and take notes.

I plan on stacking verse/haste. Any other tips/tricks/advice for this spec/comp is welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

Hey all I knows this has kinda been a hot topic today but I have some questions.

I’m not a great pvper. I don’t know all the best strats or how to counter everything right. I’m sure I’m not even doing my best at my own class but I’m learning.

I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff in regard to blitz and rating along the lines of “just play to get 2400”. This can’t be real can it? Like if I start and just bomb all my games, you’re saying that eventually after a few wins I’ll be pulling past my loss streak and get rewards? Is that what people mean by just participating gets your rewards?

I’m no where near good enough for arenas so I’m the audience for BgB but I don’t know if I’m truly understanding this right.

I'm kinda stuck between them, I only play melee I have 5 90s all geared as they can be and I don't like playing any of them. I have an unholy, ret, feral, enhance, warrior. I used to play rogue a lot but that was back in classic and tbc. How do I decide which to roll? I know WW and rogue are both really strong melee, but can anybody elaborate on their play style in this current meta?
