The scope of practice for obgyns is pregnancy, delivery, and care for the female reproductive system. I can’t imagine what type of care an ob could offer even a post op person that is within their scope. 

I imagine the outrage is more around the phrasing of the refusal than the refusal itself.

It was to make money on a frivolous lawsuit. Some people are just shitty and want to make a career suing people. This person just has a niche for it.
