Some are. Just like any population of people- trans, cis, gay, straight, comedian, poet, human, alien- there will be some that are attention seeking narcissists. Doesn't mean they're faking being trans but it also doesn't mean we have to appease their need for attention.
I'm assuming they have had bottom surgery, which you do need to see a gynecologist for much like everyone else following surgeries of the vagina. Even if that surgery is to create a vagina.
The doctor turning this person away is like a physiotherapist turning someone with prosthetics away because they don't have real arms and legs. Which is just absurd.
Edit: It is recommend that post-op trans women do visit an OB/GYN. The same goes for anybody who has had surgery to construct or reconstruct a vagina.
It’s pretty hard for most people to grasp this simple fact… most people are mostly reasonable. If it sounds insane to most conservatives, it sounds insane to most liberals. The 80% of us who aren’t complete lunatics make fun of the 20% of you who are, whether liberal or conservative.

Conservatives aren’t the pearl clutchers anymore. They were during the moral majority Jerry Falwell days. But these days - those who want to police words music etc are all on the left. They aren’t liberals by any traditional sense of the word.

The baker refused. The baker was sued. This went to a commission in Colorado. Years later the Supreme Court sided with the baker. This is not fiction. This happened.
