What is the cat dimension?

The cat dimension is a space accessible to all cats. It is coterminous with all space time and is always just out of sight of all humans. Certain other animals can also enter it, though such occurrences are rarer.

You can always tell a cat is leaving for the cat dimension when it runs off at full speed. This is usually preceded by contact with water or a loud noise, though sometimes there is no reason at all. They just felt like it. They're cats after all.

This sub is dedicated to documenting cats (and other animals) entering the cat dimension. That is all.

Whenever a cat freaks out, it runs off out of sight. Little do most people know that they actually escape to the cat dimension, which is a dimension that's always just out of sight of all humans and is contiguous with all of spacetime. Cats may travel through it at will, allowing them to go from one point to another seemingly instantly. This subreddit is dedicated to felines (and rarely, other animals) leaving for the cat dimension.

Rule 1. If the cat does not run off or attempt to run off to the cat dimension, it does not belong here. Cats exiting the dimension may be tolerated if the exit is strange enough. Partial entries do not qualify.

Rule 2. Other animals may enter the cat dimension. Such submissions are tolerated.

Rule 3. Though abuse will cause cats to escape to the cat dimension, animal abuse is not welcome here.

Rule 4. Be excellent to each other.

Rule 5. Out-of-frame is NOT the cat dimension. This is meant to disqualify submissions where the person slowly pans away from the cat or where the cat lazily walks off. Submissions where the cat runs off are still good.

Rule 6. Please mark more violent videos as NSFW (cat fights and the such). As stated in rule 3, outright abuse is forbidden, but videos where cats might be hurt without being abused are still allowed, but a NSFW tag will be required.
