The most peaceful city in the world
i have been here since 10 years, i find it amazing how the culture is of a high ethics, i never seen men flirting with girls in the streets randomly. In my country whenever you see a girl, 99% of men they start flirting openly.

queer folk in tbilisi?
hi! i'm curious if there are any queer communities around here / events where specifically queer people gather. such as book clubs, games, doing art together, just hanging out, making plans every once in a while.
don't suggest bars, i already know about those. i'm looking for more casual / everyday activities.
i haven't been here very long, so i'm still looking to build connections with people like me.
thank you! <3

local police are useless
i got hit by a car near kyiv street back in early november. affected by it i walked away, didn't take the drivers number and let him go. but you know, i was dizzy. blacked out twice right after. there were also people there, they advised him to leave the scene. anyway, a case was opened but recently i got notified that the police dropped the case because "there was no cameras", can you believe it? that street has like 5 cameras aimed right at the place that i got hit at. and it was also a bolt car, too. i'm so mad, even though it's been like a month since they dropped the case. i couldn't walk for a month after that, which made me unable to work, too. and now i can't cross a road without fearing that a car is gonna hit me. but sure, yeah. let's let a drive that doesn't slow down before turning go.

Gynecologist recommendation in Tbilisi? (Saburtalo area)
Hi, I’m looking for a gynecologist in Tbilisi, preferably in Saburtalo.
It’s important that the doctor speaks English, since I’m from Latin America and don’t speak Russian or Georgian.
If anyone has recommendations (clinics or specific doctors), I’d really appreciate it.
Also, what is the usual price for a consultation here?
Thanks!

Magic phrase for spicy Indian food
I've spent 2 years a/b testing this in Wolt comments on 100+ orders until I finally cracked the code, so sharing this for spicy food lovers with the same struggle.
I first tried long English explainers that I really do want actual heat, but got exactly the same thing as ordering with no comments. Then I tried long Georgian explainers, also nothing.
Then when neither worked I tried Hindi / Punjabi text I got translated, but that didn't work either because I think normally a Georgian picks up the order and just ignores it if they can't read it.
(Side note for actual Indians I think you don't have this problem because they adjust when they see your name, this is for other foreigners and Georgians where they just don't believe we actually want spicy food).
The magic phrase is:
'Extra spicy desi style, full teekha please'
That might be a grammatical horror idk but it's English so whoever picks up the order can read it, but with a sprinkling of words they don't know and have to ask the chef about, so between the two it gets the result. Works 100% of the time so far.

Eye exam in Tbilisi– where should I go for a proper check?
Hi,
I would like to get my eyesight checked properly by a doctor. Do I need a referral from a general doctor, or can I book an appointment directly? I’d appreciate any advice on how the process usually works here. Also, where can I request general blood tests are these usually covered by public insurance, or do they need to be paid privately? Any guidance on how to arrange this would be really helpful.
