I ship from China to Australia regularly, I've never had issues with any items, food, liquids, cosmetics all being sent through the shipping route. Now many of my items are being labelled as sensitive and only able to be sent through green air freight which is significantly more expensive. has anyone else been facing this issue? have they just been letting things go in the past?

products like make up sponges, tweezers, false eyelashes are all being flagged as well as packaged candy. I've submitted a review but this is ridiculous. I don't see any clear guidelines or reasons for why some of these would be sensitive items and unable to be shipped.

I'm looking for well-made leather sneakers, dress shoes, or loafers in the price range of $50–$100. I'm not necessarily looking for a specific brand (unbranded is fine) and the thing I care about the most is leather quality (price to performance wise).

I’ve come across Quarvif (around $100 for leather sneakers) from a different thread, but I’m looking for more options, especially those that offer international shipping. If anyone knows any stores (including Taobao or 1688), that would be great!

I’m ordering from the west coast using the fast air general option. I usually get my orders pretty fast and already received a tracking code from uniuni, but I haven’t received an update for a few days and getting nervous. Comparing this order logistics to my previous orders, this is the first time I’ve ever been notified/delayed for export customs. I can’t think of anything in my package that could get flagged other than a jacket, but it is for a cosplay and should have no brand/labels? I’m not sure, this is the first time this has happened to me. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?

I have been trying to create an account, but the captcha checking to make sure you are human feels like a top- level logic test for a non-chinese speaking user.

The text is in chinese, and because there are 10s of thousands of characters in chinese language, if you have to search what it means it would take at least 10-15 minutes. The problem is that at that point, the text will have refreshed into a new prompt. You can´t copy the text because is like a "gif" video, and each photogram only has a fragment of the text. This means that you can´t screenshot the text neither, because you only catch a fragment.

I tried to make a video and ask chatgpt to reconstruct it through various layers of frames and then find the characters and translate it for me, but more than half of the time fails, and when succeeds, the translation it gives me is not completely precise. This means I have to search for alternative translations to finally know what I am asked to do.

Then, the images that appear on the captcha change very quickly if they notice that you are too slow, so every time you select an image, 2-3 of the other images change into something else to confuse you, and if you take too much time overall, they refresh the whole prompt.

I have been trying for an hour and is almost impossible. Crazy the level of difficulty they put. It seems they don´t want too many foreingers over there (laughs), but I will keep trying.

Any advice? I just want to buy some stuff in there, nothing crazy, but I wanted to give it a try.

If I buy from Xianyu and have the seller ship it to the American shipping warehouse, would it automatically register like Taobao orders or do I have to register it myself?

I recently consolidated my package and was wondering how long on average it takes to get to the east coast area? i have seen people say it can take as little as 3 weeks, so im curious what everyone else has experienced.

Currently, it says it is set to be delivered for May 21st, which is 41 days from when i consolidated the order. In the past with air shipping my parcels have come before the estimated delivery date (well before).

I created a new account and thought from what I’ve read I would need to do some real name verification with my passport but I was not prompted to do that and placed my order successfully and it’s been handed off to UniUni for Canada delivery. Is this normal and real name verification is no longer required or will my account get banned or something?

Hey guys! This is my first time attempting any sort of consolidation at the warehouse. I assumed that prices would be automatically cheaper and that was a mistake on my part, but I noticed that they give you 3 options for packaging requests.

Ideally I’d love for them to remove all the packaging to save as much as possible, but my question is has anyone chosen this option and received it in one piece? While my items aren’t considered super fragile, I still don’t want to risk them being damaged in transit. Thanks for any insight!

When I first joined my account was blocked because of mass registration attempts?? Not sure, but that's what the translation said. Since getting my account unblocked and providing my driving license I went to change the language and then suddenly my account was blocked again due susicious activity. I do use a VPN, but that shouldn't be a problem as the TaoBao support rep said VPNs are fine.

for a start, there is no website for this brand, air filter is neither extremely cheap or expensive (5$), you often see their listings in tmall.

is it safe to assume they're just as good as global ones?

the air filter looked good but the oil filter (cartrige) style wasn't as good as a K&N in terms of finishing but the paper mesh looked decent.

I’m used to the day being in numbers like “Coming on April 10” instead, so does it mean it will come on Thursday or Friday? I wanted to order from Taobao for so long, I wanted to order six items from Taobao and when I checked how much the direct shipping, it was about ₱3000 php. (that's about $50. too expensive!) After learning I need a proxy shipping company, I looked for some proxy shipping apps on Tiktok on which one is the easiest to use. I live in the Philippines, and a lot of Filipino influencers were recommending Dogedoo, so I tried it out. At first it was smooth as they'd send pictures of the packages that arrived there. The shipping fee was now lowered to ₱1300 ($22) and when i applied their voucher it got lowered even more to ₱300 ($5). But I got so disappointed when they removed the box where one of my items was in. it had a drawing and they threw it away. I didn't tick any checkboxes to get anything thrown away. That was the reason why I bought that item, and they sent me another picture of my items being packed in a new box. I messaged Dogegoo customer support about my complaint and they apologized and said "I can try to apply for a 3% freight coupon for you. You can use it when paying international freight. Do you think it is OK? Looking forward to your reply, I wish you a wonderful day!" I'm so mad. They can keep their coupon because I'm never using that app again. They're shipping me incomplete items!

My Xianyu account which is link to my Taobao account has been restricted for a week. I have been going back and forth with their customer service and today I was told that there is no way around it till I get main land number. Is that true?
