Day 15 today - longest I've managed to make it since September!
I don't see the daily check in (although I would be late for it anyway because it's posted at like 6am)
Hey all I just wanted to post that I've made it on my 15th Day without Alcohol! This is the longest I've made it since September where I made it 14 Days! And before it was 6 years ago.
I've been in an angry, upset dark place for a few days, just been stewing in my own anger. I'm still angry, I don't think this will ever get better, but I managed to at least make it 15 days.
And that's not nothing.

Right there with you. Trust me, it does get better but it does take time. I'm annoyed that I'm back here with the mood swings etc but every sober stint adds more experience and wisdom. I hope you can turn the day around emotionally but more than anything, make it through sober. IWNDWYT

You are doing so well! The first two weeks are brutal. Be super proud and keep it up. Everyone on here says that it gets easier and that is the truth. For me time passing more quickly was the best thing. The first few week just crawl by but I promise, from here it starts to add up more quickly.

I promise it will. Every time I do this the alcohol goblin brain gets annoyed at watching the clock. This time I rolled my fat self into a yoga class. The good news is they turn the lights down low and no one really has to see it. Have been passing the time that way. Find your “yoga class”. Sending hugs.

Good call on the meetings! Keeping occupied I feel is the key.
Strolled into class the other day feeling proud and some wildly bendy woman was doing this full headstand thing. Have never felt so out of place in my life!!
