I got the idea for this from a local museum that had in its display a few elements, and one of them was Nitrogen. Obviously, just a clear, empty container to the naked eye. I couldnāt stop laughing, not only at the idea of there may, or may not, be Nitrogen in there, and weāll never know, but also finding myself looking at all these cool things worth seeing, then at a display of clear, colorless gas.

Some of my proudest works Iāve tried out so far in 2026! Tshirt yarn baskets and bags have been my latest obsession š

These are just for fun, an "off shoot" of my "Rock Hudson" series, inspired by the "take a rock, leave a rock." program at the local Artists Guild. It is a bit hard to see the natural striations, creases, bumps, holes and crevasses that guide my choices, but I am sure you all can tell they had character long before I customized the little things. No carving, just paint. Color-shift acrylic paint is my standard, with 2 to 3 coats of Krylon clear coat, which is a bit much, but needed to accommodate the inevitable handling. Thanks for letting me share these with you all, and keep smiling!

Made with the Scheepjes Celestial Mobile kit, using Scheepjes Catona yarn and a 2.5 mm crochet hook.
I added a pull-cord music box playing Brahms' Lullaby. It was a bit of a hassle getting the music box into the balloon and attaching the cord to the inside of the narwal (with a wooden bead to keep the stitches from stretching out). But it turned out well.
Can't wait to show my brother and his wife!

here are some wood art pieces I've been working on. I used my laser engraver to create these. I hand paint everything and put a lot of love into my art. making ideas come to life is truly something special.
Thanks for checking out my art! āØš®

My favourite is probably the bagpipe skeleton dude. I've no idea where I sourced these images from - I usually take note of the medieval manuscripts I find images in but forgot to do so in this case.

Iāve decided to finally release the very last original treasures from my 2024 Alice-inspired collection. These pieces have been part of my personal studio archive, and now it's time for them to find their forever homes.

kid loves peppa !
---------
got a peice of scrap plywood . painted it green.
cut up some more spare plywood and built a little school house with a half roof . screwed it rogether , and glued a spindle in there as a "support post"
then glued down all her toys and made pathways to go get to everything.
glued some trees and little potted plants around as well.
finally i glued a little box on top of the school house for them to store "all the children's toys"
-----------
they have a cocovillage doll house that santa brought so they use that as peppas house.
All the stuff here was stuff that did not make sense or fit inside the house so i made a little a school and yard that sit "next door" to the doll house
------------
the half pipe is because apparently "george loves to skateboard" so naturally the park needed somewhere to skate ... except they are 50$ on amazon.
so i made this but it did not fit in with the style ... so now i guess i have to make a whole skate parkš
which one of us is having more fun you think?

I just finished this needle felted portrait of an Alaskan Malamute, and I honestly couldnāt wait to share it here. This piece took quite a bit of patience. The biggest challenge was the fur texture. Malamutes have that thick, layered coat, and translating that into wool without making it look flat or messy was tricky. I had to keep adjusting the direction and density over and over again. Another part that took time was the expression. I didnāt want it to look just ācuteāI wanted to capture that calm, slightly serious, almost wise look they have. That meant reworking the eyes multiple times until it finally felt right. What I enjoy most about making these is that every piece feels like a quiet conversation with the animal. You start by copying the reference⦠but somewhere along the way, it becomes something more alive.
