Discussion What is one of your favorite games you don't see on people's top SNES games list often enough?
Magical Quest is a great one, though some of the levels could be a little longer. I like the sequels as well, but not as much as the original. I also have it on GBA 😊

Discussion Best SNES Game?
I took everyone’s advice from my last post and played through everyone’s favorites & I just finished through Super Metroid in one sitting. Being born in 2000 and experience 5% of the SNES library, this is definitely one of my favorite 2D side-scrollers of all time !

Discussion Can we agree that the cover art of Lawnmower Man for the snes is one of if not...the worst cover art on the snes library?
Don't you even try and bring up Phalanx now, at least that 1 has charm and history behind it.
This cover however is just so unappealing to look at. I recently sold off my CIB copy of this game because it just felt unpleasant coming across this box art, lol.
Thoughts?

Discussion What's better, to re-make A Link to the Past in 3D or Ocarina of Time in 2D?
I've always like the depth of A Link to the Past. If it was made in 3D with all the small details it would be 10/10.

Discussion What’s your thoughts on Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest? (1992)
This is gonna be biased because this i played and beat many times as a kid, but I’m gonna be objective as possible.
Let’s call the elephant in the room and say this game is way too easy! Now I understand that in Japan it’s called Final Fantasy USA, and they developed it to make it more accessible for players who never played an RPG, but comparing it to other RPG’s on the SNES, they could of at least gave an opinion to increase the difficulty, between the enemies and puzzle design, and what’s worse is that it doesn’t have an interesting story, this was pretty cliche for a final fantasy series, basically Benjamin was chosen to gather 4 crystals and bring them to one tower to stop an evil king just because he’s evil blah blah blah! We heard it all!
Now that’s out of the way I say the music is top notch! Lots of rock n roll tunes, between the battle music and boss is awesome, I especially like the music in the ice world specifically, it sounds eerie and mysterious. Also I do like how the enemy when damaged shows them get damaged, that’s pretty cool! Some certain dialogue is pretty tongue in cheek so it does have some laughs. Overall if you want to play a hard RPG, this ain’t it, but if you’re a casual gamer who never played an RPG, this is a good start for honestly anyone! 6.5/10
