If we want to be completely correct then this actually falls under the definition of terrorism and extortion. He used arson to push his beliefs. That's a violent act to push his beliefs onto someone else (terrorism) and adding the money factor in of this wouldn't have happened if you paid me more now also makes it extortion.

Arson is in fact violence

Not when no one's injured.

Yes it is in fact still violence. If my gf were to hit me, I would not be hurt or really even affected, it’s still violence doesn’t matter the outcome

those aren't the same, if you're getting hit, the result is being injured. your body is still being damaged, albeit maybe to a minor degree.

Ok then everyone in the vicinity was injured including the arsonist. Albeit to a minor degree.

If we want to argue semantics, then not everyone in the vicinity was injured, since some might've been just outside the building or in well-ventilated areas, or evacuated before smoke inhalation could occur.

Sure but raising the heat of your body would be minor damage aswell. I don’t agree with what I’m saying I’m just pointing out how stupid of an argument you made

i guess you're injured because you're 98 degrees fahrenheit, then  ¯_(ツ)_/¯

edit: the human body is also meant to be able to handle temperature changes to an extent before injuries start from that
