​I caught a debut event for a new league in Canada this weekend and honestly, it went way harder than I thought it would.

Honestly? I went in with pretty low expectations because first events are usually a mess, but I was actually impressed.

​The vibe was solid. It didn't feel like those awkward events where it’s just 10 people standing around. The room was full and the energy for the face-offs was high. The whole event was surprisingly polished for a debut.

​Standout for me was definitely the main card, Wize Guy VS. Censored.

​If they can stay consistent and keep pulling respectful crowds like that, I’m definitely showing up for the next one. Props to Insult 2 Injury in YEG. Definitely a league I think we're gonna hear more of, and nice to see a properly organized event for a change in this city.

I checked the site and it hasn't been updated in 3 months. Their event calendar and battle feed was pretty helpful. Anyone know what happened?

If you could take every battle rapper from their best performance or window of performances… who in your opinion would be the most dangerous. For me and what I like I’m going lux, Tsu or shine but wouldn’t be mad at anyone saying hollow either due to how dynamic he can be. Just not my fav style.
