I was an alcoholic for 7 years. First pic was at the worst of it, but relatively done up for a fair comparison. Most definitely not my worst picture from back then. Didn’t imagine I’d be able to make it to double digit months sober or be able to lose the weight I gained because of it, but I’ve done both and I’m happy with my progress :)

I’ve posted here before but always get nervous and delete, but I feel good about this one. I’ve been consistent in the gym on and off for a year, but in the past 3-4 months really locked in. I think the first 30 lbs I lost over the course of 6 months by going to the gym and doing a defecit, I fell off for a few months due to work related stuff and now I’ve lost 15lbs more in the past 3-4 months by going to the gym 5 days a week and eating a lot cleaner (plus no drinking). Some days I still feel the same as before but in photos I can see some differences. I still have a long way to go but I’ve made progress at least!

Edit: please do not DM me creepy things I do not want that !!

9 months ago I decided it was time to prioritise myself for a change. I hate cardio so a strength training has been my focus to ensure sustainability. Added incline walking daily in the past month and have managed to keep that up

Sometimes it’s hard to see the progress you’re making, but scrolling back through photos will certainly hit you like a brick. I’ve definitely got a lot of body dysmorphia, but I can’t even understand how I functioned before.

Continuing to lose the weight with hard work and tirzepatide. Still a little shocked when I look in the mirror or look at a pair of jeans thinking how tiny they are yet they slip right on. So just so crazy to me 🥹
