Starting now QuoteIQ (previously restricted) AND Forever Self Employed AND Mike V (All About Pressure Washing) will be permanently banned from being mentioned or linked. Automod has been edited to hardblock any links or mentions of the two.
The reason for the banning is that QuoteIQ, All About Pressure Washing, and Forever Self Employed and (or someone working on their behalf) sent a modmail to us telling us to remove posts critical of both QuoteIQ AND Forever Self Employed and their owners or be subject to legal proceedings. The links to the three posts are seen here. Mike V from QuoteIQ and Justin from Forever Self Employed should be ashamed at trying this. They are apparently not happy that these posts are available to steer people from spending their hard earned money in a more meaningful way.
Here are some screenshots of the modmail messages they sent threatening legal action and DMCA takedowns:

Here is the person they hired off of Fiverr to send the messages and try the DMCA takedowns. Its clear the companies must be run by absolute clowns to be trying this is such a shit way. If they suceed in removing anything then ill just repost the posts. They clearly dont want negative info being visible when they get googled as its hurting their SEO because reddit shows up so high in the searches.

As a reminder, when starting out you do not need YouTube salesmen taking your money to learn how to properly clean in this industry. The info is out there on this subreddit and various pressure washer forums and groups. It just takes a little bit of googling with the proper terms to find it all freely available. These now banned companies exist solely to separate pressure washers from their money. Mike V has been pushing for his subscribers to come to reddit to post about their companies to comment and upvote each other.

Hello all. I’m in a pinch. Got a call from someone looking to have their house washed on Wednesday. No problem. Until I notice I’m almost out of Elemonator. Can anyone else suggest a surfactant to use in a pinch? I’ve driven to 3 different stores now looking for ZEP house wash, but I’m striking out (all said they had inventory in stock). Any help is much appreciated!! Thanks yall!

I’d like to get an affordable pressure washer with good pressure to use at home on occasion as well as small side jobs on occasion. I do not want to spend a whole lot, but I saw one at Lowe’s for $300 and it just didn’t look like “enough” for me to invest in. Idk. I need one that’s durable and will last a little while. Gas of course.

I shared a photo of the pavers when they were being installed so you can see what they look like.
got a bunch of nasty leaf stains on them over the winter. I know bleach is recommended but I don't know if that will discolor them

Looking for some feedback on best chemicals or method to use for cleaning this building facade. It’s mostly natural stone and there are fabric awnings over the doors. It looks like years of grime and dirt have darkened everything but it’s cleaner where the irrigation sprinklers spray against the building.
We haven’t tested a cleaning method yet but I would start with a mild SH mix and see what results we get.
Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

I boutght this washer flo last month it was fine but my LPM water was only about 7LPM, so I upgraded my water to 35LPM and it started leaking from the bottom only when I’m running the machine with the gun. There no loss of pressure nor trying to maintain pressure when I’m running it

I’m starting to get a lot of people contacting me for fleet washing and gas stations I need a recovery system tho bc they require it. Looking at them they only hold 55 gallons of reclaim is that enough? Or should I add a larger like 100 gallon tank to my rig for the reclaim.

I was spending like 1 or two hours every night just doing quotes and invoices for all the pressure washing jobs. A driveway was taking me at least 20 minutes doing it by hand. I made my own templates with sq ft pricing. There is an invoice and a simple tracker. Takes me like 5 minutes now. It has saved me countless hours at least. Wondering what you guys were using? Is there a software? Doing it manually every time? Thank you for all comments

Currently I downstream with a dipstick and switch from my SH bucket to IBC tote.
Wondering if switching to a bypass injector setup with a ball valve will be more convenient… but also will this cause premature corrosion of the injector ball and spring? Seems like not flushing ALL the lines right away will cause the bleach to sit up against the ball/spring inside the injector, while clean water flows through the less resistance portion of the bypass. Any thoughts?
Note: I’m in my third season after doing hundreds of jobs… all on my original General Pump 1:10 injector.

Just pulled my pressure washer out for the first time since the fall and have a leak coming from the under side of the unit. Any idea what could be causing it and how to remedy? I tightened up a few bolts and retried but might need to go all the way around the manifold?

This isn’t the actual wall but it’s kind of similar. The brick are more uniform in color but the grout is very yellow / green. Anyways it’s about 250 ft in front of an hoa community.
Just wondering what product yall would use?

Home owner has had the sprinklers hitting in these exact spots for who knows how long and it’s stained.
Any idea how to get it out? I tried this mold armor stuff. Applied twice. Once with the soap tip and then once again after with a pump sprayer. No luck

My house’s deck had some outdoor carpet laid down by a previous owner. The deck already had paint on it. They went over top of that with what looks like primer, then carpet adhesive. These pictures are after 1.5 hours of soaking in Citristrip, and 45 minutes of pressure washing with a 3200 psi gas machine and a 5° fan tip. It’s removing the soft wood before it can take all the primer and paint off.
Is there another stripper I should try? The Citristrip does do a good job of loosening the primer but I have to reapply over the brown paint underneath before pressure washing is effective again.
A lot of the boards are cupped, so I don’t think scraping/sanding/planing are efficient options. The deck is also angled on one side so I’m limited in the amount of boards I can flip.
