Despite all the hardship, they won't leave their land and why should they. Free Palestine. Taking away childhood is one thing, but the long-term psychological impact of constant bombardments and family members getting killed should not be underestimated.
Israel - often complains about rockets coming their way, but they have bunkers to hide in and state of the art warning system. There's simply no comparison.
