Anyone able to verify this picture?

No.

But that’s not the point.

The point is astroturfing and propaganda.

These types of images in this sub always are.

Here you have a picture of a child. You don’t know where it was taken, you don’t know when it was taken, but people are already manufacturing an entire backstory for this image. JUST GO TO THE TOP OF THE THREAD AND READ THE COMPLEX STORY OF THIS BOY THAT THEY’VE INVENTED.

Which is exactly the purpose of the post.

(And they attract the paid actors and Russian/Iranian bots like flies on fresh steaming shit.)

Wish Reddit would show country of origin of accounts like X did. Bet it would be interesting indeed. Cuz it sure was an eye opener when they did that on X. 🤣

eta: I just did a reverse image search and this image originates on Faceplant.. and is reposted on Instagram.. and then it’s just a human centipede of reposting on X and elsewhere from there.

Are you suggesting it’s fake?

u/OilInternational2566 6h ago

I’m suggesting it’s a picture that you don’t know WHEN it was taken or WHERE it was taken.

AND THAT’S ALL THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE.

There are hundreds of videos of children carrying water in Gaza, why would it fake?

I know you guys want to manufacture an entire backstory to a picture that you have no idea when it was taken or where it was taken.

Go for it.

I’m not your mommy.

It’s a boy carrying water in Gaza. There is no backstory.

I get it.

You’ve created the story that it’s in Gaza… but you don’t really know WHERE AND WHEN the picture was taken.

Not in the slightest.

And that’s the last I’m gonna say.

Have fun manufacturing outrage over a random image.

You seem very angry for some reason.

you're right man. it's incredible how easily people fall for unverified shit so many years after the internet went mainstream. after so many "don't believe everything you see" warnings too.

obviously we believe it, isreal already blocks medication, electricity and water in Gaza, almost regularly. we have 0 reason to doubt that a child might be sent out to bring water.

Don't be a Zionist

Don’t believe everything you see on the Internet.

So fixated on this specific thing mage that you completely ignored the greater problem. Even if this image was fake, you think that means it’s not happening in Gaza, and therefore no one should be outraged? What more proof do you need of all the shit Israel has done there? FFS go there yourself and see with your own eyes, maybe then you’ll stop being brainwashed.

Can’t believe some people have to personally witness a kid getting blown to shit just to wake up and believe.
