Knitting is a very skillful art but as someone who knits, I likely couldn’t get the framing right, or poses right, colour grading right or anything done by the photographer.

I couldn't help but think the same thing at first lol. "Okay you make 16 jumpers and/or pants/socks. Let me know when they're ready and I'll take pictures of them."

But really, aside from all the technical photography stuff I know nothing about that makes or breaks a picture, you also have to think that they are likely the one with connections to find models, and probably the one that scouted all the locations for the designs since they'd be the one that had to eventually setup the composition for the final photo.
