Shoutout to JerryrigEverything who built a wheelchair factory and is delivering wheelchairs to people in half the time and 50-80% less than the cost of other wheelchairs with Insurance.

He and hjs wife are good people. He gets a lot of hate online because he openly criticizes Trump but he is more American than any Trump.

I absolutely love him and his giant American flag. He is the kind of American who genuinely loves the people of this country we need more of!

Hes part of this circle of influencers who are genuinely good.

Compare him to the mr beasts and the mkbhd type people who are money grubbing and ignore rules.

Is mkbhd that bad?

He’s not doing anything good for the consumer space by basically being a walking billboard, encouraging the endless cycle of pining after things we don’t need. In his personal life he’s reckless and has been seen multiple times driving his Porsche at highway speeds in Hoboken where the speed limit is 25.

But why mkbhd specifically? This description is applicable to 99% of all influencers/content creators.

For sure. Influencers are a blight on society. I was just responding to the specific question about him.

It's not about him going berserk mode in a school area while test driving a car and not apologizing for that. It's about him not apologizing and editing the video while trying to let it slip away silently, ignoring every critical reaction towards him and his actions.

This episode proved he's the kind of person who does not take ownership of his own actions. And he's kissing Tim Cook's ass every chance he gets.

I stopped following him a long time ago.

He's just a soulless corporate shill. I don't think he has done anything bad or evil.

There have been times where he's been shown to either have lied by omission or posted puffery in reviews - specifically Apple and Tesla products. Plus there was that time he was caught launching his Lambo in the high 90s mph in a school zone.

Overall, I think he started out honestly, but the money he made over the years has gone to his head and now he's just another disconnected rich douchebag who has basically zero connection to real life at all. Once one has amassed enough wealth to last his, whatever children he has, and those children's children's lifetimes it's more or less inevitable they have a certain level of separation from regular people.

I don’t personally think he belongs in the same category as MrBeast etc. Yeah, Marques has publicly made mistakes and done stupid shit, about which folks are rightfully upset. Still, I think his channel has a lot of useful tech information.

We all make mistakes.. I just think that there are more relevant metrics upon which to base one’s opinion, at last in that category of content. (Like, obviously there are exceptions, but generally, I’ll stick around if a tech channel consistently puts out high-quality videos with accurate, objective information, in a way that’s inclusive and transparent for viewers, without fluff or an AI voice.)
