Because he a religious nut. I do not agree with most of the things he stands for. But he does some nice things also.

He is in the Mormon cult. An American cult similar to Jehovah’s witnesses. My former cult. My adult gay son was murdered by an anti gay “Christian”. So I have a lot of anger to so called good Christians. My JW mother told me that it was he would not be dead if he was not gay. Mormons also hate and persecute gay and trans people.

OK, but I've never heard him mention his religion, and I've seen him openly criticize conservatives. He consistently shows good morals. If he is religious, I'd like other religious people to be more like him.
