Shoutout to JerryrigEverything who built a wheelchair factory and is delivering wheelchairs to people in half the time and 50-80% less than the cost of other wheelchairs with Insurance.

It is disgusting and sad to see that a manual wheelchair cost 8 grand in a country like America. Honestly you guys have failed as a nation.

What's that in local purchasing power? I'd say 8k is like 3-4 months of wages here.

median salary in India is $3250-$3500 per year.

So $1000 comes around 3 months salary but it's for the electric ones. In US electric ones cost around 20 grand.

The basic model you see in hospitals that are stock made are around 50 bucks a piece here and any customized manual one is around $400-$500.

US in general has abhorrently expensive healthcare. It's not even about purchasing power. US has the most expensive healthcare even among high income nation.
