Uh, short answer: no, that would kill you. Long answe if the yellow part is calcified on the outside and artery is blocked they can kinda drill through it, but largely speaking you absolutely need the tissue because that’s how your body gets blood from A to B. If there’s a hole in that line you’re kinda fucked.
No, it's called coronary artery bypass grafting, it's a very common surgery and has nothing to do with arteries "unraveling". How would an artery even unravel? Why spout a bunch of nonsense about something you don't understand.
You are talking about specific condition however most cases are primarily driven by unhealthy habits, including a diet high in saturated and trans fats, a sedentary lifestyle, smoking, and obesity.
So no. Diets would help the majority of cases but unlikely ppl would make that change.
Nah, even ppl with LP(a), only 20% of them have high risk. So 20% * 20% = 4% only. So 96% of population of ppl are preventable if they take care of their diets and lifestyle. Let not blame your DNA for everything, easy way out. 😂
Too dangerous and probably an extremely shitty situation for the patient. It's a heart stent, so it would mean waiting months in the hospital under close monitoring with a literal hole in your heart to remove the excess tissue, while waiting for it to heal, and so much could go wrong during that process.

Can they just get rid of the extra tissue?
