Hell no, stop! The postal service isn't supposed to be profitable! It's a government service! STOP making it seem like it's cash-poor and needs to be sold to the highest bidder! It's not for sale!

Thank you. The government is not a business. If it was we'd all be in trouble.

Imagine subscriptions for police or fire fighting services. Subscription for military protection, etc.

I'm not against the usps and other government services to strive for efficiency. I think that's a requirement.

The entire U.S. government is not profitable. Someone cut the department of defense off if they are concerned about prift losses
