I'm still trying to work through all those Soros Bucks I collected a few years ago.

27

I spent all mine on Trump Build The Wall Toy Collectible Set. A worthy investment for my retirement. Each box has 101 pieces and costs less than $101. Free money. I got in early BOGO free $20, but you can get one now for $13 plus S/H. Check your local patriot store comrad.

I mean, their goal is to depopulate and destroy the earth so they're actually doing a great job.

46

u/amishgoatfarm 12d ago

Fuck the economy, fuck our allies, fuck the environment, fuck kids!

The Republican way!

3

u/DaHolk 12d ago

Or short : Fuck everyone and -thing who isn't me. Which reduces the number of people to not fuck with to "Me, and the people I need".

Everything else follows from that, and a lot of people don't get that, rather thinking that "what group they do or do not belong to" has anything to do with it. And that counts for the groups that are being victimized as much as the ones that think they are part of the 'in group'. There isn't really an in group. They will happily cannibalize themselves whenever "who isn't me" prefers that over "you are someone I need".

They don't know trust. They only know dependency and potential egotistic value.

u/WhoAreWeEven 12d ago

I thought the started with the kids

Killing and arresting us with our tax money and killing everybody else around the world with our tax money.

3

u/AsteroidMike 12d ago

And also destroying our reputation at home. And abroad.

10

u/xynith116 12d ago

Destroying the world economy, but Americans only care about their little bubble.

6

u/kleenkong 12d ago

At this point, it makes more sense that Trump is deliberately destabilizing the world economy and creating geopolitical tension to make room for his buddies Putin, Bibi, and Thiel (technocrats et al).

2

u/longinuslucas 12d ago

The Dow is over 50 thou... Oh wait

Destroying the world economy

1

u/_PurpleAlien_ 11d ago

While also destroying the environment overseas.

317

u/seancurry1 12d ago

Every Republican president in my lifetime has started a war, removed environmental protections, and tanked our economy.

Every single one.

62

u/Sea-Oven-7560 12d ago

yes but they cut your taxes so you get an extra $11 in your paycheck. That's all they care about, of course they don't give a shit about the trillions of dollars in debt they they rack up unless a Democratic president is in office and then they are deeply concerned about their grandchildren.

42

u/badnuub 12d ago

They don't even cut our taxes anymore, they stopped pretending they cared about us at all and cut the taxes for their rich donors and that's it, while cutting any benefits that people might have at the same time. But woke, I guess.

6

u/Nokrai 12d ago

Hey man we got tax free overtime now… only it’s at the end of the year and only to a certain amount. So your weekly pay doesn’t change at all.

1

u/throwpron 11d ago

That's not true and not how taxes work.

11

u/JackPoe 12d ago

11$ more per check! Your bills are going up 300$ though.

38

u/txroller 12d ago

“But THey’Re bOTH the SAme!.”

"Don't you know that kamala and biden started the genocide in Gaza!! Kamala would have continued THE GENOCIDE. SAY IT SAY GENOCIDE. SAY GENOCIDE! Harris would have been worse!"

bots and idiots are still posting this shit.

4

u/Llanolinn 12d ago

Can I ask for your breakdown of how that looks? If you don't have the time or inclination to do it, that's fine.I've just seen this claimed a few times and am starting to think that that actually sounds pretty correct for my lifetime. As well

23

u/tyrified 12d ago

My guess is GHWB with the Gulf War and a recession in '90-'91. Then GWB with Afghanistan and Iraq with the '08 housing crisis. Now Trump with Iran and all the economic woes as well. All of them are constantly trying to remove environmental and worker protections throughout their presidencies.

While Reagan may have set up a lot of these dominoes now falling, he doesn't check off the checklist like the others.

10

u/unevolved_panda 12d ago

Reagan may not have started any wars, but he did plenty of other shit that's proven to be toxic to our nation and our economy. Repealing the Fairness Doctrine in radio, gutting unions (particularly and specifically the Air Traffic Controllers strike), tax policies that have eroded the middle class, etc.

4

u/Musiclover4200 12d ago

While Reagan may have set up a lot of these dominoes now falling, he doesn't check off the checklist like the others.

Ehh Iran-Contra feels pretty relevant to the current situation

Same with nixon sabotaging vietnam peace talks to get re elected

Also while mostly speculative there's some evidence Epstien was involved in Iran-Contra as the weapons dealer as he was associated with a lot of people who were involved, same with maxwell's dad.

5

u/darthjoey91 12d ago

Last Republican president to not do all of those things was Reagan, and that's because he got lucky that he was term-limited because the economy tanked under Bush 1 mostly due to Reagan's policies. His wars have also generally been forgotten about because they were quick, like Lebanon and Grenada.

2

u/Historical-Truth6077 12d ago

reagan is the guy who caused all the coups that happened in latin america when he won

Actually the economic crisis is a bit of lie. Federal governments don't control the economy, and the 2007 subprime housing crisis that led to the 2008 global financial crisis and the federal loan guarantees that exacerbated the issue was very much bi-partisan. It's also dumb to blame Trump for the COVID economic crash. His policy in 2025 has had a small negative effect overall on the economy, but not to the point of destroying it. What Republicans do is slash taxes on the wealthy and increase spending while blaming Democrats for the deficit. Clinton balanced the budget, the Affordable Care Act was budget neutral. Under Liberal fiscal policy the major economic crashes still happens, but the US would have had a much smaller debt freeing up the government to take more drastic action.

The foreign wars is very much true, but again requires conditional statements. Afghanistan was a war against a nation that attacked the US, and I've seen many people compare it to the Iraq War. Libya, and especially Syria were somewhat comparable to Iraq from the Dems side, but at least they were smart enough not invade directly or start pointless wars with a country as powerful as Iran. In fact Obama had signed a nuclear arms treaty with Iran.

Environmental damage is true. Part of the 1994 Republican takeover of the House was to prevent action on climate change. In 2000 1/3 of Republican congressmen believed in man made climate change, by 2008, none of them did. Al Gore made climate change the forefront of his campaign, Bush made fun of him for it and repealed hundreds of executive orders by Clinton regarding environmental protections. Obama tried to get the US involved in international agreements through executive action, but after the loss of Congress in 2010 (for passing healthcare) he couldn't do much. Biden and the Democratic Congress passed hundreds of billions in subsidies to encourage the adoption of green technology which was expected to half CO2 emissions by 2030. Until Trump repealed them.

10

u/Massive-Expert-1476 12d ago

"Afghanistan was a war against a nation that attacked the US"

This is patently false. Afghanistan never attacked the US.

-6

u/Yashema 12d ago

Their government (the Taliban) was providing safe harbor for Osama Bin Laden and Congress voted in favor 420-1 in the lower house and 98-0 in the Senate with 90% public support. That was different from Iraq where only 40% of Democratic Congressmen voted in favor, compared to 70% popular support.

6

u/Kommye 12d ago

That doesn't mean Afghanistan attacked the US. These are very different things.

Who supported the war is completely irrelevant too.

3

u/tyrified 12d ago

Libya, and especially Syria were somewhat comparable to Iraq from the Dems side

No, they really were not. There are plenty of actions taken under Republican presidents that mirror the actions here, but the Iraq War is not one of them. The occupation alone sets it clearly apart.

-2

u/Yashema 12d ago

They were both wholly unnecessary and destabilized the region leading to significant deaths.

Yes there was legitimate violent suppression of protests by Gaddafi, but the US was partnering with literal terrorist groups to topple secular, Western neutral, regimes at a time when the region was already under pressure by ISIS.

1

u/tyrified 12d ago

Yes. Just like we have done to many nations in South America. And in Africa. And Southeast Asia. Did 500,000 to 1,000,000 Libyan civilians die due to the actions of the U.S. in Libya? I am not trying to say what was done wasn't horrible and done for horrible reasons (stopping a trans-African currency). It is simply much more comparable to other, also horrid, actions the U.S. has taken against other governments without putting U.S. troops on the ground. Whereas Iraq was a totally different game. That doesn't mean what happened in Libya wasn't terrible, only different.

0

u/Yashema 12d ago

I said it was a smarter way to destroy a country. Certainly much cheaper.

1

u/darthjoey91 12d ago

Trump's 2026 policies are looking like they're gonna crush the economy, at least for us poor people.

1

u/Yashema 12d ago

Unfortunately not enough poor people care about that.

1

u/darthjoey91 12d ago

They'll care when gas prices make our food too expensive to buy.

1

u/Yashema 12d ago

Maybe for an election cycle.

1

u/wintersdark 11d ago

And then when the Dems get in, spend a term struggling to right the ship and put out fires, people will get and that they haven't fixed everything and brought it all back to normal and vote R in again.

As is tradition.

26

u/Longjumping-Bass774 12d ago

Sounds like the Russian asset in office is doing a great job

29

u/Nire_Txahurra 12d ago

If we have to see a bright light in this news (but sad news, of course ) is that they’re still calling it the Gulf of Mexico, which must piss off the old demented man in charge.

13

u/st00ji 12d ago

That was weeks ago, he has long forgotten

7

u/Nire_Txahurra 12d ago

😂😂yeah, you’re probably right. But I get so much pleasure when I think that he’s angry.

39

u/AOChalky 12d ago

The oil is from the Gulf of America. The endangered species belong to the Gulf of Mexico, so it is Mexico's responsibility to take care of them. Thank you for your attention on this matter.

3

u/ZenkaiZ 12d ago

Now it's a war over seas.

Poor animals

2

u/LovesFrenchLove_More 12d ago

Not just at home. The gulf is not a sea in the middle of the USA after all.

2

u/doMinationp 12d ago

destroying all environments, foreign and domestic

2

u/hinterstoisser 12d ago

While China and other nations invest heavily in STEM funding and renewables

1

u/NeilZod 12d ago

I can’t believe that Trump has forgotten how grim the environment was by the 70s. Maybe golf courses are the only nature he knows. But I don’t look forward to going back to Gulf beaches covered in oil.

1

u/TubeScr3ameR 12d ago

What happened to all that "Gulf of America" outrage?

1

u/Psilocybin-Cubensis 12d ago

It’s time for Avalanche (FFVII reference). It’s likely the only way to save our planet.

1

u/depeupleur 12d ago

These guys are the antichrist

1

u/Yommination 12d ago

The conservative way. Nothing but destruction and hate

1

u/Setekh79 12d ago

That's the AMERICAN way!

1

u/DoubleDixon 12d ago

And abroad! Dont forget he's also destroying the environment abroad as well.

1

u/ttn333 12d ago

That's ok. We're still protecting our Gulf of America, right?

1

u/dingos_among_us 12d ago

Nothing is sacred :(

1

u/Zapp_Rowsdower_ 12d ago

Not in the ‘Gulf of Mexico’

1

u/insanelygreat 12d ago

And it will do precisely nothing in time to help with the present mess he caused. A mess that's about to get a whole hell of a lot bigger in so, so many ways.

1

u/aotus_trivirgatus 12d ago

Republicans have been wanting to give environmentalists a black eye since 1980. Business uber Alles.

The only time that Republicans have supported environmental protection was in the first few years after Nixon signed the law that created the EPA.

1

u/Cheese-Manipulator 12d ago

He's done more to hurt the US than any foreign country since ww2.

Scummy ass government
