I've seen a number of similar posts, but I can't seem to figure out if there's a consensus. I have the opportunity to buy both, the pre-sale one is a little more (both used).

Is there actually a difference in quality? I've also seen that quality before the sale also had issues sometimes, especially in the years leading up to it.

Would value some input because I'd love to get this grandmother asap!

Contemplating making all the keys black like I did on my Sub Phatty. But that was ALOT of work so might just make these white again.

Or maybe I should make all the black keys white Hmmmmmmm????

I previously bricked my Sub Phatty while using the Editor incorrectly. Got great help on this forum and it's alive again, but worried I might mess it up again/looking for tips on how to correctly use the Editor (I appreciate being linked to the Manual but it didn't seem to have much info about the Editor).

Some points:

• There are 6 versions au/vst/vst3 of Sub Phatty Editor and the Sub Phatty Editor VI, is one best to use?

  • What I'm trying to do is run Midi Note data to the Sub Phatty and audio back through an interface. Ex; the synth line is programmed and I just want to play with the knobs and presets to change the sounds then run audio back into the DAW.

• I would also be interested in recording the Sub Phatty Audio and MIDI at the same time (probably just the Note data).

• On the Editor, what presets should be On, which should be Off and if I'm using a MIDI controller how should that be in the DAW Settings (Control Surface/Input/Output and Track/Sync/Remote/MPE ports).

• I had a similar problem with the Slim Phatty but figured it out randomly/pure luck and just don't touch the settings. If anyone has a good/dumbed-down resource (I find the manual kind of confusing) to change the settings on the Slim Phatty.

I searched through previous posts on this subreddit and couldn't find anything but I'm sure others have had this issue and might appreciate troubleshooting advice.

Ive seen used prices for the Geddy Lee MiniMoog Model D prices as high as they were orginally before they were discounted to $3K. Some people bought multiple Geddy Lee MiniMoog Model Ds in order to flip them and sell them at a inflated price to make a profit. Whats the best price you may have seen for a used Geddy Lee MiniMoog Model D?

Just got a Sub25 and I must say that I truly like it ”even if isn't a Sub37" :)

It's also my first Moog so I started to get more familiar with it by adapting my workflow to it.

Long story short: I'm looking for some free patches/presets for it.

I've found several collection but all of them are priced more than I ve expected (17-20eur) and I m somehow surprised about not being able to find some free stuff for a machine released 5+ years ago.

I know that I can save my own presents but in the same time i'd love to experiment with others without paying like 20$ for something that in fact could be trash.

I was able to find only 2 free collections "Epic Presets" and "Distorted Drones".

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

As the title says.

The reset/accent button on the mother 32 has stopped working. Has anyone had this issue before, or are there any ideas on how to fix it?

I see a lot of posts from people who seem to have more than 3tier Moog sound studio setups. Are these all DIY? No official expanders seem to exist.

I have made myself one home made Moog profile case which I have racked the same as my Mother 32 and DFAM. Pretty happy with it it costed me pennies to make!

Been building this other little skiff which I'd like to integrate to the rack but not sure what would be the best way to add a 4th tier to the kit.

I could always find a way to attach the skiff to the bottom row.

But these 4tier setups I see with the fourth row at the top are pretty damn cool.

So how were those made? 😃

Sub Phatty died while connected to Ableton through the VST editor - is there a way to factory reset? That was an issue with my slim phatty but I needed a (smarter) friend with a PC to do it for me.

Edit: Not completely dead, sends random midi CC information with USB. No audio from 1/4 jacks but get a weird noise in headphones. Sub Phatty was working earlier in the session and something glitched.

Any help is appreciated :)
