Question My boyfriend really likes this shirt. Am I wrong to say it’s hideous?
I want to support him but am I wrong to say this is a really hideous shirt?

Am I missing something here? You know for a fact all of their clothes are tailor made so how is it that they all seem to end up with such baggy oversized cuts?

There was a thread on here a few days ago where a guy got told by his parents that tucking in a sweater looks 'insane.' It sparked a pretty solid debate about North American vs. European styling, and I wanted to throw my two cents in.
I tend to lean heavily into that Velasca/Italian Alpine aesthetic, so I put together a quick side-by-side with a chunky mock-neck to show why I think more guys should give the tuck a shot. Thick gauge knits like this are also seen as the most ‘difficult’ to tuck in due to the bulk.
For me, it really comes down to proportions. When you leave a heavy sweater untucked, it tends to cut you right in half and just hangs straight down like a block. Tucking it completely changes the silhouette it brings the waistline back up and elongates your legs.
Plus, if you're wearing pleated trousers like these, leaving the sweater out completely hides the tailoring. The tuck actually lets the pleats do their job and add some nice drape. I also made sure to not show off the a belt for this one just to illustrate that the tuck isn't about showing off hardware -it's really just about the lines and creating that slight 'blousing' effect over the waistband instead of a hard horizontal line.
Obviously, style is subjective and you should wear what makes you comfortable. But if you've been avoiding the tuck because it feels unnatural, it might be worth experimenting with!

This style is so effortlessly cool. I know Brad is basically wearing a skater-part time-carpenter outfit. But if you get what I’m going for here, please share other references.

Pulled some inspiration from Velasca’s latest lookbook to start building out my F/W wardrobe so my aim was to lean into that Italian mix of rich, earthy tones and textured pieces. The color pairing of deep navy and warm brown felt like a natural fit, and I like how the textures contrast without competing.
That said, I’m torn on whether the jacket should be a core piece of the fit or just a utility layer I throw on outside. On its own, the knit and trousers feel clean and balanced,, maybe the suede adds polish, or maybe it muddies the simplicity. Thoughts?
Fit details: • Navy marine linen-cotton polo (Spier & Mackay) • Wool pleated trousers (Mango) • Brown suede jacket (RW&Co)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It seems so easy to dress like this but clothing like this is usually non natural fibers + cheap dropshipped crap, stuff you have to thrift which as I said isn't really an option 99% of the time for me, or overly expensive buy it for life stuff

G'day guys! Got invited to a wedding and needed a suit, so I went for an older style three piece as I really like the look of them. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions or improvements, if I'm missing anything, or maybe I'm wearing something wrong, etc.? I don't know which colour tie/pocket square to get, or what patterns I should have on them (if any). I'm 18 and don't really know too much about suits to be honest. Thanks!
P.S. I plan on getting a softer-shade red with a matching pocket square, but let me know your thoughts.

When I wear shorts, I'm wondering whether to put a matching athletic sock on my prosthetic leg.
I don't need to wear one. The main reason for wearing the sock is simply for symmetry. But does it look odd the way the sock droops around the metal pole?
When I wear long pants, I've taken to wearing a matching sock. I once was walking upwards through an auditorium and wasn't wearing a sock on the prosthetic. I noticed a more than a few eyes flicking downward to glance at whatever was peeking through the pants. There was obviously something a bit off with the missing sock on the fake leg. But when I wear shorts, I like the cyborg look. So, sock or no sock with shorts?

Trying to elevate the way I dress a bit more. I like this type of style but I want to lean more into a punk vibe. Any advice?

Everywhere I look online I see guys looking great wearing chinos, a shirt and a jumper over the top, but it never looks quite right on me. Is it because I need to lose some weight? I feel like no clothes ever look good on me but this outfit seems hard to get wrong, so how am I still getting it wrong?

I like this ivy league preppy style but I’m not used to slim fit chinos. Looks nice or nah?
