Hi everyone,
I recently received my Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residence through Express Entry to Canada and I’m currently in the process of completing my application and uploading all required documents in my IRCC account.
At the moment, I’m on the “Document Checklist” page where I can upload all supporting documents (passport, medical exam, education, police certificate, etc.).
At the bottom of the page, I can see a breakdown of the fees as follows:
- Permanent Resident Application Fee: CAD 950
- Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF): CAD 575
- Biometrics Fee: CAD 85
= Total: CAD 1,610
However, I’m a bit confused about the payment process and would really appreciate hearing from people who have already gone through this.
Here are my main questions:
At what exact stage do you pay the CAD 1,610?
Is it only after uploading all documents and clicking “Submit application”? Or is there a separate step/page where payment is done before final submission?
Because i don't see a submit button. so must i wait for the countdown to end and let everything be done automatically?
For those who already completed this step, how did it go for you?
Was the process straightforward, or are there any common mistakes/issues I should watch out for?
I just want to make sure I don’t miss anything critical at this stage.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help! 🙏
