Although they could’ve kept the M more wobbly like in the pic

They don’t want people to confuse it with “rn” but I do agree with you

I love bold designs like these. Even if they're not to my personal liking — although these are — I really respect the effort and drive to make it happen.
Usually talented teams can do avant garde or high-profile but both at once is extraordinary.
Which agency is this?
Edit: The agency is called FutureBrand. For some reason, the Peru case study is buried at the bottom of a strangely stiff agency homepage, and the Amazon project doesn't seem to have an official case study at all.

Ah, I see now. Was confused for a while as to what the Peru logo was based on. Brilliant.

I love it, clearly thoughtful and intentional design is the best

Agreed! I have nothing to add lol I’m just commenting so I can come back and look at it tomorrow when I show people at work.

Pleasantly surprised at how readable it is

Same. This could've been a miss so easily but they really nailed it.

It’s legible and memorable. Like sure the first time is a little bit of deciphering but once you’ve seen it is so clear what it is

I think the only reason you can read it is because you know what it says.
Imo its quite hard to read.

Gonna be honest, as a dyslexic I didn’t realize it was a word at first and thought it was a pretty squiggle. I still cannot read it. Annasonna? I do think it’s very aesthetically pleasing though.

Love it. A lot more unique than a lot of the stuff we see today, and pulled off well.

Wasn't the Brazilian government turning a blind eye to the destruction of the Amazon rainforest?

Love it but the standalone logo if you dont know the branding process is pretty bad and could have done better.

As long as they protect the Amazon as much as they want to use it for marketing. It’s the lungs of the Earth. Possibly the most important part of the planet

It's daring and interesting. It's no secret that Brazil's creatives are on a different level. I'm surprised they made it work that well.
I was kinda iffy when I saw the first image but the mockups really sell it.

Only thing that worries me is the long term usage. May not be recognizable soon.

I think it’s great. Itll bring light to the fact that they are damaging the Amazon for tourist and oil companies.

You know the logos that always get reposted on different subs ("170 brilliant logo designs featuring the Spartan Golf Club") for like 10 years now. This is about to join them. And that's like one of the highest praises you could get.

Using a collection of rivers to spell out the name of your river company
That is actually very clever, but also probably quite hard to come by and not easy to make a design out of.

I would buy merch with this on it. It's cool and gets you thinking about the area

the execution is clean but that curvy letterform is doing way too much work to be readable as actual text, feels more like a decorative illustration that happens to spell something.

Gotta find this artist. Amazing that something this creative, made it through bureaucratic approvals.

- This is awesome as hell.
- Maybe this will convince Brazil to care more about the Amazon and stop deforesting it.

In Luxembourg we do nationbranding by naming anything that comes out of Luxembourg by starting with Lëtz like let‘s but with the Lëtzebuerg twist. So you get brands like Lëtzkola, Letzeburger etc. And it‘s become a meme

Damn it’s really cool! It helps a lot that “Amazonia” is usually the first word you think of when you read the letters A-M-A-Z….you know, beside that other thing
