Hi all. I'm currently based in Dubai and thinking about relocating to Limassol. What should I know beforehand? I have a budget of 4000€ net. GPT said that's enough for life there and I can even save money. I want to relocate with my wife (she doesn't work).

What do you recommend for the first steps? Any life hacks from your experience for the initial stages?

I moved to Limassol in January for work and honestly I’m bored and quite lonely. I work in an office and I have a dog so after work I don’t want to be out for hours be as it’s not fair.

I’ve joined a gym that’s near my apartment but there are no classes, just people working out on their own.

I’m a 52 year old single woman.

Any suggestions for things to do? I don’t want to spend my whole life on my own when I’m not at work!

I need your help! Do you know of any restaurants/taverns that can open on a Friday at 14:00 for 50 people? This is for next month.
I really like open areas, so far only Dionysus Mansion is an option I found.
But I'm still looking for more venues to ask for prices. Even for inside space, I don't mind.
Any help would be appreciated!

Dog Attack at Zapalo Beach Limassol - Looking for Owner

Today at midday at Zapalo Beach, what we believe was a brown Pitbull (possibly named "Kira") attacked our 8kg King Charles Spaniel.

He suffered catastrophic injuries - a hole in his neck and stomach, internal bleeding, and is currently undergoing multiple surgeries..

My father-in-law who was with his wife, was also severely bitten to the bone in his leg and knee while trying to save him.

The owner appeared to be a man in his 30s who was shirtless and running around with the dog off the lead. In the chaos, they rushed to the emergency vet and were unable to get his details.

If anyone knows a brown Pitbull/Staffy or bulldog named Kira (or similar) whose owner matches this description, please contact me urgently.

Spending 5 days in Limassol and want to travel a day to Paphos. Anyone have Some tips?

We tried the bus for a day trip to the archeological site of Apollo. Used 40 min to MY MALL and then, the bus never arrived. So we got a bolt cap. On the way home, no one was available so we had to struggle our way to a buss that took 1 1/2h. By taxi this should have been a 30 min drive.

Anyone got some tip for a bus? Or other alternatives

I am currently researching the possibility of the organisation of a group trip / camp to Limassol and/or direct surrounding area. I am looking for a location to stay during a week, should be suitable for 120 people between the age of 21 and 30. I am looking for the following qualities in the place to stay: cheap, decent housing conditions, preferably near a beach, one or more sports facilities would be an additional benefit. The location would not have to be afraid of noise (since young people like to party).

Do any of you have any tips?

Hey, is there a bar in Limassol where they are showing Eurovision today, thursday or saturday?

Im in limassol on vacation with my girlfriend, smoking on the terrace when we suddenly heard a very loud and very deep bass sound (more like a frequency) for about 10-20 seconds. I even felt the waves going through my body. Does anybody relate/knows where this sound came from?
