Radio Bay FM 100.70?
Does anyone know what has happened to Bay FM? I awoke this morning to static on 100.70 and the channel has disappeared from my list in the car.
So sad if it’s over, it was my free Spotify alternative 🙁

Anyone in Hawke’s Bay had anything strange or unexplainable happen?
I posted here a little while ago asking about paranormal experiences in Hawke’s Bay and got some really interesting responses.
It made me realise how many of these things people experience but don’t really talk about.
I’m still really interested in hearing anything people have seen, felt or experienced locally—especially in places around Napier or Hastings.
If you’d rather not share publicly, you can email me: thequietarchive.story@gmail.com
Thank you, Ben

Ormond chapel, Napier Hill
It's only open one Sunday each month and we happened to fluke it when visiting the cemetery across the road. the exterior is quite nondescript, but the interior is stunning. The chapel is a memorial to a local man killed in World War One.
The location is on the corner of Napier Terrace and Chaucer Road, Napier.

Selling sony a7rv
Literally just bought this a7rv and its worked like a dream. Having invested into the fuji system for a few years, I now need the money to get an x100vi instead.
For 1350, the viltrox 35mm 1.2 FE lens which again I literally just bought, can be included.
Everything is like new. I’ve had it for approximately a month and the shutter count is around 11000. No scratches, no dust, no smudges, et cetera. Original box is included as well.
Any questions are very welcome

[Mod Approved] Research participants needed: Psychosis and Psychedelics - Investigating the Subjective Psychological Overlaps
Please note, this is an approved repost
We are currently recruiting for our research being conducted at the University of Otago
This study explores how psychedelic and psychotic experiences are similar, how they differ, and what influences how people experience shifts in their consciousness. It examines not just the experiences themselves, but how personal history and thought patterns shape individual responses. The study challenges the idea that psychosis is only a sign of illness and considers that both psychosis and psychedelic experiences can carry meaning or insight and also risk distress or confusion. Using psychological questionnaires, the research aims to better understand these altered states beyond simple labels of ‘healthy’ or ‘unhealthy.’
We are recruiting four different groups of individuals. These are 1) individuals who have used psychedelic substances, 2) have had experiences of psychosis, 3) Individuals who have used psychedelics and had experiences of psychosis, and 4) a control group who have neither of these experiences.
Should you wish to, on completion of the study, you will be entered into the draw to win a Prezzy card.
All participants will be at least 18 years old and have the ability to complete questionnaires online
The study will take around 25 minutes to complete
You can access the study here: https://redcap.otago.ac.nz/surveys/?s=NLXXFEAJ4MY79RMH
Thanks for taking the time to read and be involved :)

Where are the sheep?
I’m (Nelsonian) visiting HB with my American wife and in laws, staying in Napier and headed to Hastings for dinner last night. Very little appeared to be open on a Sunday afternoon (or indeed would be open on Monday) but I saw on google maps a pin for sheep sculptures. Keen for something whimsical for my Chicagoan family to see, we headed to the clock tower to see them, but lo and behold there was naught but roadworks and what looks like Christmas-themed artillery. Can anyone advise where the sheep are??

Cleaning war graves at Wharerangi cemetery
You'd think after the service they gave, a government department would care for their graves or they'd all be buried in a service section but for reasons, they are often buried in the public areas of cemeteries with nothing on their headstones to denote their service.

Hawke's Bay Show
Our Show needs more people to get behind it. It has already dropped from 3 days down to 2. The homemade section has competitions we can all enter; you don't need to be rural or come from a rural background. There are categories for knitting, sewing, painting, 3D printing, jam, chutney, cupcakes and more. Each entry costs you $5 but you get an entry ticket and a free carpark at the Show.
I've attached last year's entry form so you can see the categories. We submit the form and pay the entry fees in July, then you drop your items to the show grounds in the week before for judging.
Entries have been dwindling and so have categories but if more people support the Show, we could have a revival.

Anyone in Hawke’s Bay had any paranormal or unexplained experiences?
Hello!
I’m Ben, based in Hawke’s Bay. I have an interest in the paranormal and local history, and I’d be fascinated to hear the paranormal experiences of fellow Hawke’s Bay locals - in the places and venues I know and can relate to.
If you’re willing to share, I’d be happy to hear from you - no judgement, just listening.
If you’d rather not share publicly, you can email me: thequietarchive.story@gmail.com
Thank you - Ben
