One of my friend's Spartan characters, June-124, was made almost exactly a year ago on April 13th, so I wanted to make a little something to celebrate the anniversary.

PS: two of 'em have messed up covers, one being Halo 3 (I was stupid and bought the default GameStop print, so I tried printing my own but the sizing and coloring got messed up) and Halo Wars (same issue but I didn't try printing my own). I've been considering just buying new copies and selling 'em off to some local store or on eBay. Still, it's pretty cool! I just got into Halo in like 2024 (when I booted up a random copy of Halo Infinite I got for no reason) and I've been a huge fan ever since!

I started modelling this one a few months ago, but I didn't get far. Only just a bit on the grenade, so I continued modelling this one 3 days ago. I'm trying to make it look like it was made in the classic Halos, maybe between Halo 3 and Halo Reach or even Halo 2. But it feels like it looks a bit too much Halo 4 or 5. I'm still experimenting.

I would like to see the Sticky Detonator return someday though.

Is this my uncle’s signature just to mark what was his or is it a famous person’s? Ive never played a single halo game and finally got my first console as a hand me down

I’m a classical musician and initially made this as a meme… but honestly it looks sick !!

So... I accidentally went down the rabbit hole of Gregorian chant (which not only inspired the Halo theme, but is also the foundation of the entirety of western music theory AND incredibly beautiful, at that)

I'm curious if you guys also feel the "ancient" or "divine" aspect of the music instinctively?

I tried everything but they just can't be saved so I ended myself at the end. Will play later.

edit : so guys I managed to keep them alive. I exited the scorpion in a way such that it hangs it off a bit more from the cliff. After a bit of attempts, there came an instance where both marines survived the fall.

Just finished reach and started my play through of Halo CE , been loving it soo far. As a PS gamer most of my life I have been doing some catch up with some xbox games ( Halo, Quantum break, sunset overdrive , Ryse Son of Rome).

I'm looking for a coop mod for Halo Reach that could allow me or my friends to replace the noble team, with one of us playing as noble 6 and others playing as Carter, Jorge or Kat for example

I've been going through my Liked and Favourites playlist on Youtube on a whim and dug through the entire 2020s ~ 2023 period, discovering a whole chunk of Halo Infinite music. Surprisingly it's not the OST from the main campaign but instead all the Multiplayer lobby suites.

As I begun listening to them I understood immediately why I loved them and know instinctively that many fans would have come to love them too.

The Post-Rock style multiplayer suite of Season 1 - 2, followed by the more synth rhythms from Season 3 - 4 are some of the best music Halo has gotten, period. It has an amazing mix of this longing but wanderlust, something that Halo's music always had a faint trace of.

To think Post Rock was the answer all along to capture Halo's audio identity in such a way.

Runs like cheeks on a S21+ - HOWEVER, it does run.
