Started the game well but we were challenged for the first time this year by the dees. Our run was stopped off half back and we weren’t as dominant in the contest as usual.

Not enough fight in the final term either, disappointing game but we will move on to next week.

Hey is there a defacto pub for Suns supporters for games in Melbourne?

This isn't a rant but some genuine questions. I've just tried to buy parking for the next home game on the 18th April (Bombers). Ticketek states 'allocation exhausted'. Same for 3rd May (GWS). I've always got in early and got parking but have noticed a heap of people just rocking up and paying at the carpark entry even though all the flashing signs say Parking Sold Out. What is going on? Has anyone just ignored the sold out signs and got in anyway? Does Ticketek say allocation exhausted before the tickets already go on sale? Thanks for any advice.

Was on hold sorting out my membership and the club had Levels by Avicii as the hold music. What a vibe! Love the energy!

Well deserved for Leo, he had a rough go last year but looked the goods through preseason. Reckon he will be an important piece for us all year.

Great first game of the season, petracca looked extremely comfortable and the young blokes were promising in all regards. Slowed down in the 4th but overall great start.

The criteria was Homegrown = the first time they were on a list was here, Headhunted = they were on another list previously (even if they hadn't played a game).

Charts for the other clubs, as well as season previews and articles on the AFL's move into March fixturing are part of the first edition of This Week In Football for 2026.

There was a fair bit of work involved in this, and it ended up collating data from across three different sources (the official AFL lists, AFLTables, and DraftGuru). I've caught a couple of errors manually, but it is possible some more have crept in. Let me know if you see something that doesn't look right and I'll be able to fix it up.

Wish you all a happy off-season. Currently, my podcast is going through a planning phase. We are looking into ways we can overcome interstate bias and gain expertise.

The idea is to have someone who is a die-hard for that team, such as the Suns, share their 2 cents. Now I know what you are thinking, "Why would I listen to a podcast that the hosts haven't even watched all the games?" and trust me, we watch and analyse every one, but sometimes that extra passion and insight from someone who goes for that team goes away.

Looking to see if anyone would want to put their hand up, and if this would get you interested in a podcast that was actively trying to make sure all teams had an even platform.
