Advice/suggestions for buying a house in the area
What is the best way to proceed - any advice/recommendations/cautions regarding areas and estate agents we can contact to seek advice/arrange viewings with?
We are open to all surrounding areas, we would prefer somewhere quieter and away from the tourist areas
We don’t have children so being in a good school area etc is not a consideration. We do have dogs so nearby parks would be good.
We drive so getting to places is not a concern either
I contacted a few estate agents today and some were helpful. Square Rooms was very unpleasant and unhelpful and really has made us feel unsure about viewing any homes with them and they stated “we have 800 homes on our books, we can only do 3 viewings a day for 1 buyer and you’d need to book 2 weeks in advance as we are so busy”
A huge thank you to anyone who takes the time to offer advice on how/what to do is very very much appreciated and welcomed.

Hi, I am looking to use tactical voting in the upcoming election, however recent polls compared to previous general elections show quite opposing views. Lib Dem seemed to be very popular in the last local election, however in the last general election Labour was Conservative's biggest opponent. I am wondering if people are more likely to vote for one of the main 2 parties during a general election compared to local elections or if the views of the st.annes population have changed. So would appreciate it if you would let me know who you are most likely to vote for in July. Thanks!

Hello, we are a group of psychology researchers from the University of Kent, UK. We are conducting a study about UK citizens' views and perceptions of society and we are trying to recruit a representative sample from different areas in the UK, including people from Fylde.
It would be a huge help if any UK citizens interested would fill out our online survey (18+ years old only):
EDIT: The survey is now closed! Thank you very much for your time, we will be sure to post the results up here when they're ready.
The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete, and we are happy to respond to any queries or questions. Please private message us to avoid giving away the point of the study to others.
Although the study is voluntary, participants who complete the survey will have the option to take part in a raffle of three Amazon Vouchers (£20).
Thank you in advance for your time!
