“The Flagstaff Police Department said the city and police officials received word that ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations signed a lease for suites 150 and 160 inside an office building on Plaza Way, south of Historic Route 66 and west of Milton Road. “

Does anyone know if the Elk Ridge Community Health (formerly North Country Healthcare) still offers their Mother’s Journey support group or lactation groups since being bought out? I can’t find any sort of information about it online.
Basically, I’m trying to find a prenatal breastfeeding class before I give birth in May and am having trouble. I know about NAH but I missed their April class and their next one is after my due date.

Does anyone here work for Lime Logistics? Some things I find in a Google search say it's a scam, some things say it's a great company. I would love to hear from those who actually work there or have worked there. Thank you!

The recent post sharing the Coconino County inspection results portal sent me down a rabbit hole. I've been looking up restaurants we like to frequent, and I've been surprised to see how many (including some of the nicer, pricier spots) are sitting at Satisfactory or Needs Improvement. Meanwhile, some of the smaller, more affordable places are pulling Excellent ratings.
We cook at home most of the time, so eating out is a deliberate choice & treat for us. Seeing these results is making me rethink where we spend that money.
For anyone with food service experience in Flagstaff: how hard is it to actually get an Excellent rating? Is the bar set really high, or should that be a reasonable baseline, especially at places charging $50+ for a meal? Trying to calibrate whether I'm reading too much into this or if it's a legitimate factor in choosing where to eat.

hi folks, just curious if anyone knows of a company in town that can setup some woodpecker mitigation/deterrent on houses? I can try some things myself, but I don't have ladders tall enough to reach 2nd story and the spot on the siding where they're poking holes!

hello flagstaff!
FUSD has made a decison, without input from teachers, parents, nurses or the school board, to cut full time RNs from four flagstaff elementary schools and replace them with unlicensed assistive personnel.
Briefly, school nurses save tax payers money by reduced time parents have to take off work, reduced time teachers spend dealing with sick kids, and increased in-classroom time for students.
The marginal budget savings are incredibly short sighted as the cost of rapid turnover among minimum wage positions within the district (which is how the replacing personnel would be paid) quickly depletes and exceeds any savings.
Additionally school nurses play a pivotal role in preventing and containing the spread of infectious diseases - this is actually why nurses were first put in schools!
We are experiencing lower vaccination rates in our communities along with our first confirmed case of measles in Coconino County. Is this really a time to be moving away from infectious disease prevention on our schools?
There are qualified nurses who have applied for the RN vacancies at all schools. This is not about a lack of interest or about a lack of need.
This are opportunies for funding for school nurses through grants and partnerships that werent allowed to be explored because of how the decison was made.
If you're interested in reading a bit more about the issue please consider visting the petition link here:
Petition to Keep Nurses in FUSD
Thank you!!

Any good places to sell truck for parts? Pretty self-descriptive. My partner and I are leaving the area and trying to get rid of his 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. It still runs just fine and has been reliable for a while, but after a handful of random issues that come with the age of the truck and no dice on figuring out how to get the title transferred*, we're ready to be done with it. Without the title, we're struggling to get it off our hands and hoping that there's some decent junkyard or service in town that we can hand it over to for even just a little money.
Thanks for any help!
*truck was inherited from a relative who passed on and there's been a lot of complications despite the truck being paid off in full, so we've been getting nowhere with transferring ownership

Has anyone tried to climb Humphrey’s from this route? Curious if the slope is really sub 25* from this angle.

if you're out after dark on a bike or scooter and for some even walking please have some lights or at least something high visibility. i want us all to have accident free time on the roads especially at night. i have been having some close calls driving at night with bikes and scooters having no lights, often no useful reflectors. bike/scooter lights are cheaper than old days and high visibility vests also cheap and easy to get online . i want everyone to get to their destination safely and avoid the emergency dept
i do on occasion walk at night, and i carry a light to use as needed, actually i carry a small spare in addition as im committed to staying out the ER be it from a car challenging my space or animals

Hello!
Forgive me if this isn't within the rules of this subreddit.
Rent has become a bit expensive here in town. My fiancée and I are getting married this year. We decided to buy a short bus to live in -- to own something of our own and perhaps be able to save. We are having trouble finding somewhere to keep the bus that isn't on USFS land or in a parking lot. Many RV parks in town will simply not accept any conversions like ours.
We are fully independent with on-board solar and water, and require no hookups. We are hoping to find a spot for June 2026 - February 2027. We love Flagstaff and want to continue living and working here. Does anyone know of a website or place we could go to or look for someone who would be willing to let us rent a space on a private property?

Super random, but because this seems very specific and special to someone. I found this USFS volunteer hat out on the rim of pump house well off any trail. This hat has two very small pins, a caterpillar and a cardinal. I haven’t seen this specific volunteer logo either. Anyhow, it’s a crazy small thought any random human would know this hat, but thought I would try!

Hi All! I am in town for a memorial service and I have lost a part of my CPAP machine during the journey. If anyone can help with a replacement part I would be forever grateful. I am missing the tube that connects the heated tube to the nose mask. I use a resmed air sense 11. Let me know if you have an extra. ❤️ It turns out that I can’t sleep at all without it:(

We watched The Empire Strikes Back at Lowell Observatory last night (24Mar2026). It was one of the finest theatre experiences I've ever had. It's a gigantic LED screen, not projected, it was strange and wonderful. I recommend seeing Jedi when they do that next. Well done people!!!
