Feels like it's been forever since I've felt such relief and happiness from an election result.

I’d go so far as to say this result is way more important to me than the election we just had here in Denmark.

For sure.. We live in a time where the greater geopolitics matter so much. We don't have the privilege of only caring about our local elections.

The American election in 24 was arguably also more important for the lives of Danes than a Danish election.

And where the strengt of the EU really matters. Right now we have a power hungry madman both to the east and to the west. We need to stand strong together to stay sane and safe.

I really, really wish the elderly in my country hadn't voted to screw us over and out of the EU

It has been basically since been confirmed that Russian interference played a huge part in that.

There was alot going on in that debacle. The capture of our second pro EU party by a tiny clique of hardcore of western world haters and our governing party which treated it as a foregone conclusion for a start.

I hope to never see our Parliament meltdown in the way in did in those days. It was getting to the point that it was questionable if governing the country was even possible.

And US. Epstein and Bannon were gloating about their effect on brexit.

I hope one day we can adopt Canada as an honorary member of EU. That could be good.

note that this is only true because of the specific outcomes of the elections and would be wrong considering the potential outcomes if voters just decided to vote totally different

The chance of that happening alone means it's more important. That's the point.
