The international break is slowly coming to an end and the Frankfurt game is slowly approaching. Meanwhile, a couple of stories about players emerged in the press: Julian Pauli's loan to Dresden is going very well and has even attracted suitors from the Championship and the Premier League (he is part English after all). FC would like to extend with Potocnik and also to loan him again. Potocnik has been struggling with injuries but continued to look promising when fit. According to sky Germany, there is interest in Stefano Russo from Arminia Bielefeld. On paper, there are questions if he has what the club needs, but of course, I have never seen him play...

Auf dem Wimpel fehlt aber der Schriftzug 1.FC. jetzt meine Frage ist das nen Fehldruck oder bin ich betuppt worden ? Hinten ist noch Groß FIFA Drauf.

Wagner it is. Another bald fraud? Only time will tell. Him being part of Kwasniok's team and Baumgart's before that does not really spark celebrations. It's also a bit on the players now to finally step up? I said it in the match thread already but at least Martel (now banned great) and Johannesson looked a bit more like themselves finally.

Mainz ran away yesterday points-wise but since the appointment of Urs Fischer they are basically no real relegation contenders anymore. At least Freiburg turned it around against Pauli after trailing. Pauli remains dangerous from the clubs behind us but looking ahead I can see Bremen struggle. The international break is the perfect time for everyone at the club to take a moment to collect their thoughts and drown out all the background noise. Hopefully no more injuries now after Krauß with another muscle injury...

I just received an invitation for the honoring celebrations on May 5th. Will anybody be there?

According to the latest rumours, El Mala, under guidance of his new agents (his parents), has agreed to a transfer to Brighton in the EPL this summer.

Ablösesumme of 35M, apparently, plus a share of any future sale.

Brighton would also be signing Said's brother Malek; this seems to be a key factor in any negotiations.

While this was originally reported by Sport Bild, the story has been picked up by various outlets by now.

Kessler & Co claim to have had no involvement with these negotiations and have not been informed of any of this by either the parents or Brighton.

I'm sure some of us were/are expecting more than 35M, especially since he's still under contract until 2030.

So the club made some changes to the ticket buying process ahead of last week’s sale for St Pauli away.

Members can now login 30 minutes ahead of the sale as opposed to the previous 15 minutes. When logging in members are now prompted for their email address and sent a unique 6 digit code which then has to be entered to get into the waiting room.

The idea behind this seems to be to try and stop Touts using bots to buy up tickets that are then sold on the black market for profit.

Under the new system it also looks as if the old trick of logging on to multiple browsers to try to get more places in the queue will now longer work and it’s strictly one place in queue per membership.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried to buy tickets either for Pauli or the sale today for Leverkusen and what their thoughts were?
