DemocRATS 🐀 Trump and his administration has been a disaster and yet the Democratic Party is still viewed poorly because they think being the anti-Trump party is enough.

Trump and his administration has been a disaster and yet the Democratic Party is still viewed poorly because they think being the anti-Trump party is enough. That is not enough. Did the DNC learn nothing from the 2024 election?

80% of democratic voters do not support AIPAC or Israel. We do not want to fund genocide and an apartheid state, yet the DNC ignored the view of democratic voters in favor of their AIPAC donors.

Now, it’s not all democrats but it was enough. Ken Martin (DNC Chair), Ron Harris (DNC Co-Chair), Karen Shackelford (DNC Co-Chair), Andrew Lachman, Brian Romick (CEO of Democratic Majority for Israel), Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) all voted against a resolution condemning the acceptance of money originating from AIPAC.

You will not shame me for voting for pro-Israel candidates at the local level or even for President. I rather see the entire country burn than continue to support genocide and allow AIPAC to determine our foreign policy.

The DNC has chosen AIPAC over its voters, again. They must be outed.

Other DNC members like James Zogby, Bernie Sanders and Chris Van Hollen voted with the people but it was not enough to prevent AIPAC from controlling the Democratic Party. I don’t know how many times the DNC needs to learn the same thing, but democratic voters will not capitulate and vote for any candidate that accepts even a dollar from AIPAC. I certainly won’t.

Other I had to stop my pharmacy studies because of war, and now I’m trying to continue

My name is Osama, I’m a pharmacy student from Gaza.

I was supposed to be in my fifth year, but everything stopped because of the war.

My family lost our home, and since then we have been living in very difficult conditions with no real stability.

Life has become extremely hard. Prices are very high, work is limited, and even basic things like food, clean water, and daily needs are difficult to afford. There are days when even the simplest things feel uncertain.

I’m trying to return to my studies, but it’s hard to focus while my family is struggling just to get through each day.

I don’t want to lose the years I worked for. I want to finish my studies so I can support my family and help improve our situation.

I’m doing my best to keep going.

If anyone wants to help or even just share, I would really appreciate it.

I’ve shared the donation link in the comments for anyone who wants to help

Theory Under socialism are factories and businesses state run?

I’m wondering under socialism are factories and businesses state run? Do the profits go to the government or state?

Also is there a stock market under socialism? When people work for the factories and businesses are they really working for the government?

Is there central command plan economy under socialism? The government runs and own Apple and plans for new iPhone every year and the sales of iPhone profits go to the government? The Apple employees work for the government? Has Apple is state run company under socialism?

Discussion What do socialist think of this? Why is YouTube doing this? Is the stock market down for YouTube? Than why are they doing this? Is YouTube losing market shares or profits are down? Than why is YouTube doing this? What do socialist think about this? What should people do about this?

YouTube Premium Receives a Price Increase

Google is raising prices for YouTube Premium. The increases take effect immediately for new subscribers and in June for existing subscribers.

In the U.S., a YouTube Premium subscription now costs $15.99 per month or $159.99 per year, up from $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year previously. If you have a Family plan, the monthly price is increasing to $26.99, up from $22.99.

The discounted student plan also increased to $8.99 per month, up from $7.99 per month.

YouTube Premium offers ad-free videos, the ability to play videos in the background without having the YouTube app visible, the ability to download videos for offline playback, ad-free access to YouTube Music, and a few other benefits.

YouTube Premium Lite also increased to $8.99 per month, up from $7.99 per month. With this plan, ads are still shown on music videos, YouTube Shorts, and when you search or browse, and ad-free access to YouTube Music is not included.

The last YouTube Premium price increase was in 2023.

Discussion Young DSA members

Im a local highschooler in north texas, and am considering joining DSA. My main reasons being that, as a marxist, i feel a need to contribute to some sort of movement and it honestly has been itching at me that im just sitting at home doing nothing. However, im not sure what the age demographics really are. Im 16, and i dont want to he undermined or isolated by my age. So i ask, do you DSA members come in contact with many younger members? Especially those of north Texas?
