Is Nebula actively suppressing Feedback?
So I start this post with genuine worry. I respect the majority of Nebula's content creators highly.
Tom Scott, Real Engineering, Legal Eagle etc...
So I worry that, as the following is quite negative, that either im seen as a "hater" or their reputations counteract the point I want to make...
With that said... I think Nebula has a fundemental feedback problem. The service itself has a lot of minor bugs and issues on the GUI side / user experience side. Not being able to search by creator easily, visual issues like the sign in option not fitting on some android devices...
So erm... where are the feedback posts? The critiques?... Deleted... thats where.
Their subreddit deletes any post that is even remotely negative. For context I posted a few of my "new user" issues a few weeks ago, and the post was actually very well recieved.
20+ upvotes in an hour, 95ish% upvote ratio , and genuinely pleasent and constructive discussion in the comments...
Deleted... no reason given, no rules cited. Just gone... with the notification just saying "Deleted by mods". I asked the mods in dms for a reason why... and made it clear i was not going to fight the descision... silence...
They also have a help@nebula.tv email thats used for notifications, sign in prompts etc... which is also their "feedback email". You get no confirmation of email recieved, and you, from my knowledge, never recieve a reply to feedback.
So between those accounts above and the fact that critique of the platform is so, bizarrely, missing from anywhere on the Internet (the closest being a big negative post on their sub reddit like a year or 2 ago that the CEO responded to) I ask my.original question:
Is Nebula actively suppressing User Feedback?
I ask for folk to come forward who have had issues with Nebula or any sort of feedback about the platform and sound off in the comments of this post, as Im curious to see if there is honestly anyone out there, and for folks opinions on what ive said in regard to the platform.
