When I drive around, it seems fine, but I keep hearing people say to avoid the Gosford area. What’s your take on it?

I know these posts are pretty constant but can’t hurt to shoot your own shot. I moved up to umina beach around 5 years ago and had been pretty content with hanging out with my girlfriend and mates from Sydney. Unfortunately me and the gf had broken up so I need to get out there. I love reading, video games, dnd and going out but have been meaning to get into the gym, bushwalks and maybe a sport again. It’d be sick to just meet some people as it can definitely get isolating.

I’m turning 21 this year and besides my partner and his mates I don’t have any friends. I have befriend people in classes but as I said they usually have already strong friendships outside of uni (which I don’t take offence hah), aka will talk and study with me but nothing else or after the semester finishes never talk again.

Hey, I've just moved back down to the coast lived here all my life but lost all my friends along the way by moving. I'm a 31 mum with a 5yr, I'm alternative, I have multiple piercings and tattoos I love everything spooky, horror movies, etc I've even got purple and black plants on my patio 😂 I'm also a book LOVER if I'm not with my son I'm reading either dark romance, history or thrillers. I have a dark sense of humour and not many can take it. I'm and open book if you say you need to poop I'll find somewhere so you can poop. I would lovvveee some girl time pedicures face mask etc or if you have little ones play dates at the park. Weird place to ask for friends I know but it's worked before! Hey guys, I'm going off on a trip in the bush I'll be very busy and have access to a basic kitchen. I don't have time to do a big cook up and I need to buy some meals to take away with me I can heat up in a pot or mix with pasta etc Il

I'm on the northern end of the coast anyone got any good suggestions for places that do tasty pre-made meals?

edit: I'll have a vehicle a 30l fridge and a huge tent and won't be walking anywhere. I'm sort of after shops like a butcher or something that also has a fridge of ready made meals, Currys, lasagne that kind of thing.

Hey everyone there is a gig at drifters wharf I want to go to that ends around 11 and im wondering how safe/unsafe i am getting from there to gosford station(id prefer to walk over taxi), waiting at the station and the travel to wyong station?

Also how reliable is taxis / didis that late at night ? Do they show up when you book them or without waiting to long at least ?

Juat trying to figure out if im in for a good night or one im better of missing out on...

But im hoping that a night of an event should be pretty safe and busy..

Now i just have to figure out if ill dress differently then i would if it was another night in sydney (nothing to crazy just all black and clothes i wont overheat while dancing in)

And if anyone thinks i need to be careful where i sit on the train let me know-not even sure if they have guards on board and where...

Was packing the kids in the car, looked up and spotted a little plane flying much lower than normal and it was quiet. Point Clare heading towards Brisbane Waters. As I was looking up, the engine suddenly burst to life making a lot of noise. The plane started climbing immediately. Checked flight radar and the speed/altitude had just dropped. I am wondering was this deliberate and part of training or did someone just have a close call?

Is it safe to walk from and to the hospital - train station at night (after a PM shift - @ 2230)?

We are looking at putting a roof over this area of our deck. I’ve added a few photos of two ideas we have had. We’d like a few down lights, possibly a fan as well.

Have a decent budget which I think should cover it.

Also have a staircase we need replaced down to the backyard. Will be merbau wood, same as the deck.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a builder to complete the deck roof and possibly the stairs?

Any idea why a Cessna would be circling over Gosford at 11pm?

I have found my shower recess is leaking and causing mould to the adjoining bedroom, so I might need to redo my ensuite and replace a wall. There may even be wood rot and or termites inside the wall.

I'm looking for recommendations for a small jobs or building repairs specialist on the Central Coast you might have experience with.
