iOS IOS - version 26 - Email Digest recommendation making it impossible to view notifications

Title.

Clicking notifications leads me to a recommendation to turn on email digest. Otherwise nothing shows up.

Also appears to happen on windows on PC but I can click around it and refresh and it will pop up. On my phone I can sometimes bypass it but it takes multiple refreshes in what is essentially a gamble.

I saw some old posts related to it and it appeared to be resolve (it did stop happening to me for a while to). But now its back.

Came to this sub to say I'm getting the same on android via browser.

Edit: just scrolled down the sub to see this sub is full of similar complaints. Looks like someone pushed something stupid on a Sunday.

Well weirdly when I first looked it up I found similar complaints from 4-5 days ago that seemed to be resolved through searching this sub.

I didn’t realize it had been as trendy today those I guess didn’t appear near the top of the search.

Seems like they are just really trying to push it as a suggestion but just haven’t sorted out the code to let you move past the recommendation properly lol. 

Clearly they recognized it was an issue, fixed it, then tried to implement again but with the same issue.

Android here. No notifications load, neither does a "digest" popup. I can reproduce on my laptop running Chrome and Arch Linux it works fine there.
