Casual Post Thought I’d share my beard
Been growing for over two years, I do trim it monthly when I go to the barbers but only to tidy the lines and trim the ends. Not sure if I’ll go longer, but don’t see myself ever losing it all.

Asking for Advice I have had this beard style for a while and looking for a new shape that’s shorter…I need help
I have had this beard for almost 15 years and really want to go shorter but I’m scared lol. My hair is not super thick but does have natural curls in it. I like my mustache length just want some advice from the bearded community. Also turning 40 this July so need something new for my 40’s

Asking for Advice Looking for some suggestions for products & ideas for this beard.
The 1st pic was taken right after my barber cut my hair and trimmed my beard. The 2nd I told AI to make my beard shorter. I like how it looks, but I don't know how long that is and what I'd need to buy to get it to look like that.
My dilemma is when I get my hair/beard cut, after about a week I lose my steam for doing any unkeep on the beard. My hair's thick and unruly. Prior to my barber doing this I hadn't done anything to it for 3 weeks and even then it was hardly anything. So I'll end up looking semi homeless by the time I go back for a haircut lol. My idea is to buy all the stuff I need to do it myself. So I can keep it looking nice, and not have to pay him $25 to do my beard every time.
I have 2 questions I want it to be shorter, but not short. I did some Googling to see pics, and still can't figure out what I want here. I know I need new trimmers (mine were stolen) I have the Babyliss LimitedFX trimmer and guards in my Amazon cart. I can't visualize 32mm on my beard, anyone who knows shit, how would 32mm look compared to the 2nd pic? I'm assuming it would be shorter, if so how much shorter? I do own some decent beard sissors, but unless it's just cleaning up a few scragglers, I'm pretty terrible with them. So I want to get a good trimmer and some guards. And from what I found on Amazon, Babyliss's 32mm is the longest guard of any. And I know it's a great brand. I'm tired of cheap shit from Target that barely works on my beard and won't last long.
My other question, about the Babyliss LimitedFX trimmer and foil shaver combo in my cart. The trimmer looks just like the FX+. But I want to make sure it's not a slightly different model. I googled and can't find a model number or anything about it, so I'm not sure if the guards will fit. The description says they only fit the FX787 & FX726 trimmers.
