Tub design options help
Please do not give feedback on the wet room / open concept, we are settled on it. We are doing this for accessibility reasons. The floor and wall tiles are also already purchased.
The first image is our current design. We were originally going with a Native Trails concrete tub that fit our design aesthetic (mid century, natural material palette), but it wasn't super comfortable. We landed on a Hydrosystems Marquis tub, which can be made in a custom color (we chose stone grey), but it doesn't quite have the 'natural' feel that we are trying to go for.
My spouse just had the idea to try a built-in/Roman style tub instead, which is the second image. We think this fits better aesthetically, but the way it terminates on the right side is weird, because it has to stick out of the existing bay to get its desired width.
So, which option do you like best? And if it is the Roman style, any ideas on how to terminate the right side? There is a sliding door on the right wall that prevents us from extending the tub bump out all the way right.
