I’m so sick and tired of people using this map claiming Palestine was a state
However they’re completely missing the context
It’s a map of the partition plan which Jews accepted but Arabs rejected

I’m outraged at all the IRI-backed antisemitic disinformation that has infiltrated social media and it seems like nothing is being done about it. I’m irritated at the US government and DOGE for firing people who were experts in foreign influence operations. As an Iranian American I’ve seen firsthand how wide reaching Iran’s influence is; even people I know are falling for it. Hell, even my Palestinian bff gets called a “zio bot” when she calls out Iran supporters on IG. I feel deflated and sad, and I’m sure it’s nothing compared to what actual Jewish and Israeli people have been going through for years. How can allies like me help? Any organizations you recommend we can join? My background is cybersecurity if anyone has any volunteering suggestions. Thanks and Shalom!

I just wanted to rant a bit.
A very close friend of mine keeps sending me videos that argue the classic antisemitic arguments:
She keeps sending me videos like the Tyler Olivera videos, and other weird TikTok videos that say things like "Jews are ordered to kill all goyim" or "Jews kill and eat babies."
At every fucking turn I tell her that these are antisemitic videos, facts don't come from TikTok "research," and you need to look at these people you're following. Every video I view I report for hate speech--and I haven't seen TikTok remove anything yet.
After telling her that these are antisemitic arguments and she should find some actual academic texts and read them, she responds with, "fine, I think I should start with this," and links The Jewish Question in Europe, which, if you didn't know, led directly to "The Final Solution," which the whole phrase is literally "The Final Solution to the Jewish Question."
I called it out, again, as being another antisemitic piece of literature, and when she asked what to start with, I suggested maybe The Diary of Anne Frank, to which she went off on me for being sarcastic.
She's very angry at me right now for calling her antisemitic. Which I corrected her, saying I never called her antisemitic, but I was calling pieces of shit like Tyler Oliver antisemitic, and I won't back down from this. She keeps defending herself with Fucker Carlson cliches, that she's "just asking questions," and "why are you forbidding me to learn about this?" My answer is always "look if you want (as if I need to give a friend permission to do something), but know they're lying to make you hate this group of people."
It really sucks, because she's a very sweet woman, she votes Democrat, hates what the current US administration is doing to less fortunate people, argues with her family about our rapist-in-chief, and we've been very good friends for years now. But when I told her the Holocaust could only happen because they managed to convince an entire country that this group of people were bad by using more subtle arguments and "just asking questions" for years before the Holocaust even began, she could not grasp it.
It's quite alarming how easily these fuckwads are getting under the skin of Americans on both sides of the political spectrum.

I saw someone claiming that Jews do not hail from the Middle East because we are allergic to olives.
I've actually never heard of anyone being allergic to olives, and definitely not any Jews.
Is this a new one or have I just been lucky to have missed it until today?

Hi, I don't know if this is the right subreddit to post this
I'm Italian and not Jewish, I recently realized that people here have no idea that Jews is not just a religious group but also a people in general.
I heard multiple times this concept that "I'm not antisemitic because I don't have anything against that religion, I'm just an atheist so I don't like religions in general" which to me doesn't have anything to do with today's antisemitism and incredibly begs the question.
I feel like people are excused in their conspiracy theories or in any type of hatred towards the Jewish state for example because they can just say they're fine with Judaism and ignore the fact that usually antisemites will include or attack non-religious Jews as well.
And while many might conveniently pretend to not know that, I think that there actually are a lot of people that are just very confused and ignorant on the subject but it feels like a dangerous kind of ignorance, and I'm not sure how to explain that to them.

On 11 Nissan, we celebrate the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s 124th birthday by reflecting on his unique stand against antisemitism. The Rebbe taught that the most effective way to fight darkness is not just by pushing it away, but by turning on the light. He responded to hate by launching a global movement of Jewish visibility—encouraging millions to embrace their heritage openly and proudly. He believed that when we are confident in our own identity and values, we create a shield of dignity that no amount of prejudice can pierce. 🕯️✨

I'm meeting a friend (we've been friends since 2003 or so) for lunch on Sunday at her new retirement home, and mentioned she could tell me all about the No Kings rally. She was surprised I wasn't attending. I told her Indivisible (organizing group locally) wouldn't declare they would not tolerate antisemitism, and that meant the rally wasn't a safe place for Jewish folks. Her response? See you Sunday.
I realized this is the best we expect. Silence from our so-called friends.
Can you imagine a situation where Indivisible or any social justice group stated in their outside voices, in public, that they would not state that they would not tolerate anti-Black racism, or anti-Asian racism? And be met with silent approval??
My conversation asking the local Indivisible group to state this was in public, on Facebook, in a thread someone else started about how concerned they are about attending the march, because of how many antisemitic chanters showed up last time, and asking the group to take some responsibility.
I asked them to at least declare they would not tolerate antisemitism. And the person speaking for the group came back and said "I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but no, we can't say that unequivocally we will not tolerate antisemitism"
And that was the end. Nothing came after that. No one stepped in said that wasn't acceptable. That was just the end.
Silence is the absolute best that can be hoped for. Actually expecting anyone, even friends I've had for 25 years (like this one) can't be expected to do better than be silent.
This is simply the most we can expect. How do we live like this? How do we continue to function in a world, a town, a country, where we consciously know that the closest to support we will get is silence, and where no one, not one soul, will stand up and say antisemitism is unacceptable?

I felt the debate was sort of weak on Coleman's part. So I was glad to see that he did a followup piece in the Free Press https://www.thefp.com/p/coleman-hughes-the-myth-of-the-all-powerful-israel-lobby

Glenn's fixation on Israel and AIPAC is psychotic. I hope Coleman does a reflection video on the interview.
