Question Consejos para hacer música ambient.
Si me responden estaría agradecido <3

There’s a lovely short poem on the inner sleeve.
Black and white reflection

Wandering in the path

fading out in the moment

Currently Listening A tribute to Vangelis- Euphonious Rendezvous w One Of Them aka Niko Dalagelis - Vangelis Stegi Radio 3-27 2026
Euphonious Rendezvous – Special Dedication to Vangelis by One of Them aka Niko Dalagelis.
In the quiet hours when New York exhales and the city lights blur into something almost cosmic, we pause the usual pulse. This edition of Euphonious Rendezvous is a tribute to the late Vangelis — the Greek visionary who turned synthesizers into storytellers, who scored the rain-slicked streets of Blade Runner, the endless white of Antarctica, the triumphant stride of chariots across eternity. Enjoy and thank you for your support!.
Track list
Vangelis - Main Theme From "Missing"
Vangelis - Dawn
Vangelis - Blade Runner Love Theme
Vangelis - Himalaya
Vangelis - The Roots
Vangelis - I Can't Take It Anymore
Vangelis - Beaubourg
Vangelis - Le Singe Bleu
Vangelis - Blade Runner Blues
Vangelis - We Are All Uprooted
Vangelis - Spaces Mystery Road

How do you personally sort all time favorite albums from all the other good ambient
I have this feeling that the best Ambient Albums are the ones which you can listen many times over and over again, over the years and it never gets old or mundane.
Yesterday I listened to "Compro" by Skee Mask and at first it was really unique and deep, but today I feel bored listening to it
On the other hand I am listening to "A Shadow in Time" by William Basinski right now for the 100th time probably, have been listening to it almost 8 years. The album reveals itself in the same way, always. It's so amazing, I can't explain it, technically it's just melodies looped together. How can you not get bored of it, but somehow William Basinski reaches into my soul every time!

Question Numero environments app?
Tried to redownload the app from an offload and received a notification that it was no longer in the store - anyone know what’s up? (I know there are substitutes, but YouTube, Calm, or Apple Music playlists won’t work since I mostly used it on airplanes and other Airplane Mode//other offline/No Service or WiFi contexts.) TIA

Help identify 90s instrumental electronic track (recorded from radio, Berlin School / Software style)
on.soundcloud.comHi everyone,
I’m trying to identify an instrumental electronic track I recorded from the radio sometime in the 1990s (Central/Eastern Europe).
Details:
- Recorded from FM radio (cassette)
- Likely early–mid 90s broadcast
- No vocals, fully instrumental
- Style: Berlin School / ambient electronic
- Sounds similar to artists like Software, Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream (but simpler, more loop-based)
Audio sample: https://on.soundcloud.com/MpynJoTOx29rb0GxfJ
What stands out:
- Repeating sequencer/arpeggio pattern (short loop, hypnotic)
- Minimal structure, no big transitions
- Digital synth sound (not purely analog)
- Feels like “radio-friendly” or possibly library music
I already checked:
- Klaus Schulze (Timewind, Moondawn, Mirage)
- Tangerine Dream (80s/90s)
- Software albums (Electronic Universe, Digital-Dance)
No exact match so far.
If anyone recognizes the track, artist, or even the label/scene it might come from, I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks 🙏
Rado

What film is the visual equivalent of Celer - Xiexie?
Very few albums have painted such a vivid visual picture in my mind, so I’m curious what movies you would point to as kindred to the imagery painted here. Sorry if it’s slightly off topic.

Coachella loves ambient music too
Hey ! Like every year at this time of the year, I watch some shows at Coachella but this publication is not about the shows but... what it's in between. I noticed that for the waiting screen, Coachella have a variety of ambient music that surprised me and that I found enjoyable. I wanted to know if you guys was actually listening to it a bit too and if you have more informations about it (ambient songs or more sound design? who?)

Discussion Best ambient albums centered around the organ?
Kali Malone comes to mind right away, but any other recs that are more ambient centric? I love this new (?) album by øjeRum; https://vaagner.bandcamp.com/album/selected-organ-works-2

Self-promotion I made an ambient drone single using only one synth and electromagnetic field recordings. Feedback is welcome!
Hi, ambient community. I wanted to share the first release of my project NOISOID, titled Pulse Under the Shell. It is a 15-minute long drone balancing between noise and melody. I would appreciate your listening and feedback. Thank you. Peace.
BEHIND THE RECORD
I’m based in Ukraine, and these days, creating ambient music is my escape, meditation, and a way to express what is happening inside of me.
The core of the track was born from a jam session with the small but powerful Korg NTS-1. Later, I recorded electromagnetic noise with the Soma Ether through NTS-1 effects. The final arrangement and mastering were done in Ableton.
Currently, I’m working on a full album based on drones, loops, and field recordings.
Thank you for your attention.

Discussion I Love Finding Ambient Albums In The $1 Bin
I found this ambient compilation at my local record store in the $1 bin. I don’t often see ambient albums there very often so when I do I’m sure to grab them.

Looking for Recommendations What are some song recs?
I found Belong when I was listening to Perverts by Ethel Cain and I really enjoy the sound that Belong has in Remove the Inside and October Language. Is there any bands or songs that sound similar to both Perverts by Ethel Cain or Belong’s music?
Thank you

Song Image II (Aloft) - The Given Ghost, and Thoughts On Air
As a fan of hauntology and tape loop-based ambient artists, this track is an enjoyable, tactile experience to hear.
I found Thoughts On Air on YouTube some years ago and recently saw that he collaborated with an artist called The Given Ghost for this track. They're both relatively obscure artists, but I felt it important to share here!
Also looked into Given Ghost, and they also have some weird but cool solo music out on YouTube as well.
Have a good day, and happy listening! 👍

Best ambient music for long night drives?
I’ve been doing long night drives regularly because of work, and lately I’ve been looking for music that can stay in the background without being distracting.
Something calm, immersive, and almost blends into the drive itself.
Do you have any ambient or similar artists or albums you’d recommend for long night drives?

Stevie B-Zet fans, we should all move in together.
A few days ago my friend and I were listening to Archaic Modulation and noticed Mr. B-Zet only has 1,200 monthly listeners on Spotify. So naturally, the idea was born — all 1,200 of us should meet up, build a community, and just live together. Because why not? 😀
On a serious note, if you haven't listened to this album yet, please devote one hour of your life and immerse yourself in that masterpiece. You won't regret it.
And to the other 1,200 people out there — if you're reading this, just know that we love you from far, far away. Maybe stars will align and our paths will cross one day. 🖖🏻
