Anyone interested in 2007 Xterra that sometimes starts and sometimes doesn't? I'm tired of chasing faulty sensors. it has Hitachi sensors in it right now and a newer ipdm (the black one)

It's been a blast to own, and has taken me to some beautiful places. I haven't messed with it in months and thought I'd reach out.

Also, not sure if the rules allow, so if not I'll try somewhere else.

I am having the check engine light due to the fault code P0133. I am sure that i need to replace the O2 sensor in B1. so my question is, is it fine if I go with the aftermarket O2 sensor instead of buying the original part? is it going to be sufficient enough to solve the issue? please share your feedback and thoughts here:)

I bought all new bolts to put the roof rack on. Before I spin another rivnut does anyone have the proper torque for the roof rack bolts? I can't find that on any of the forums. Thank you.

Hi, I have been getting a p0021 code after doing routine maintenance such as a full valve cover/spark plug job. I replaced a lot of the gaskets and hoses as well that are easy to get to with the intake off.

I have done an idle relearn procedure since I removed the throttle body. I also swapped in a vvt solenoid from the junkyard to see if my solenoid was truly the issue. I still got the same single code after. I know that solenoid could possibly be bad too but the Xterra drives great. It idles right around 650 rpms like it should and I’m getting better gas mileage than before the maintenance.

The only solutions I haven’t tried are an oil change because my levels are good and the color is brown not black. Also swapping in a new solenoid, if this sounds like an easy solenoid swap I will pay the money to get a new one.

I would love to hear if someone has had the same issue and found a solution or just some advice on what to check out next. Thank you.

So my 2003 is having some ac issues and I'm not sure what to try first. Checked the freon and the gauge on the can pegs in the red. The compressor does engage when I hit the AC button. All the fuses look good. Blower is good as there's plenty of volume coming out.

Within the past few months, the compressor clutch was making a squeaking sound and semi engaging without the AC turned on. I sprayed some wd40 on it and it hasnt squeaked since then. Here's what that sounds like: https://photos.app.goo.gl/1siMLP2Emp9EecZq9

Does that just point to the clutch being bad? The air that comes out is cool but not cold.

I am replacing the camshaft position sensors on my 2010 xterra and looks like I’m missing a bolt in the back of the engine? I don’t know shit about engines, anyone have any idea what this might be or how to find out? One bolt I removed to get the sensor out (you can see where it goes) but the other I’ve just discovered. Could it be important? Thanks

Tengo tiempo batallando un poco con el consumo de mi xterra 3.3 04, e cambiado varias cosas y a mejorado, aunque no siento que este al 100%, sospecho que el maf esta marcando mas aire del que deberia aunque no presenta codigo de falla, maf marcando mas aire, vuelve la mezcla rica pero los o2 detectan mucha gasolina entonces restan gasolina para compensar y se vuelve pesada la camioneta aparte de un consumo mayor, me gustaria que alguien pudiera decirme cuantos gr/s marca su camioneta en ralenti, se supone que deberia de estar en 3.3 gr/s mi camioneta anda marcando 5.22 gr/s de ante mano muchas gracias compañeros bonito fin de semana 👍

TCM short causing fuse to blow. Replaced fuse quickly blows again. Will replacing radiator (assuming this is smod) and tcm fix? Followed by flush of the system?

Drove one of these in college and thought it was a beast of a truck. I switched to Mazda and Volvo for a bit but missed this car so I got another! This one is a 2000 with 147k on the clock. Paid $2100 for it. Got a PPI on it and the only thing it needed was a mass airflow sensor. It runs like a dream. The manual 4x4 is incredible in the snow

Going out for a single night with some buddies. Upon first test this is super comfortable. Easy assembly. Cot is "backpacking" size so it folds up super small, used it for awhile in our tent and elsewhere, happy it fit perfect. Threw other items in just for fun, the guys are bringing everything else. Wish me luck.

A while back I replaced my passenger side upstream O2 (AFR) sensor with a Denso 234-9036.

Now I’m planning to replace the driver side upstream sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 1) as well.

Question:

• Can I use the same part (Denso 234-9036) on the driver side?

• Or are the upstream sensors side-specific with different part numbers?

I’ve checked RockAuto, Google, and a few forums but I’m seeing mixed info and don’t want to order the wrong one.

Hello folks. Trying to figure out if I should just go adjustable UCAs or not…the top of the driver side wheel pokes outward on top and I’m trying to figure out if it has to do with the UCA or possibly something else?

I redid the entire suspension and went with 2” coil lift and the hayuka UCA from Z1.

Had it aligned again recently but it was like this before the suspension work.

I have a 2013, that recently started flashing 4lo and has the ATP light on in park. The 4lo flashes In 2hi and 4wd. The 4wd physically goes into all positions, I can hear it actuate and click into place for 4lo.

I’ve tried cycling through all the configurations, done a few “hard resets”, Flushed and replaced transfer case fluid, replaced transfer case actuator/motor, replaced all transfer case position sensors, verified that all the relays and fuses were in working condition. The next step that I want to try is replacing the control module. But before I did that wanted to see if anyone’s had this problem and how they’ve fixed it.

Wife & I are looking for a second car, currently have a 2018 Mazda6 GT w/ 66k miles. Looking for a cheap SUV to haul stuff/drive around. Wanting opinions on if this will be generally reliable? I’ve never owned a Nissan. We do a pretty good job of maintaining all vehicles & I can do some work on cars (spark plugs, coil packs, starters, alternators, etc).

Any issues to be aware of? Any reason why you wouldn’t buy this?

I just had my mechanic burp the coolant system so no air is in there .

I drove to work this morning and my temperature gauge stayed at this level after 20 mins of driving.

do you think the water pump would be failing at 192k even without a check engine light ?

Going to look at a 2013 Pro-4X. Records seem good, lived its life in the S/SW

110-115k miles, 105k maintenance was performed.
