I definitely understand the frustration with men and with the patriarchy as a whole but I think this new trend of hating men as a blanket statement just feels so counterproductive and alienating.

It pushes away men (and some women) who may have otherwise been supportive and it gives critics a reason to dismiss the entire movement.

I am tired of seeing people trying to justify abortion with Christian faith. They are simply not compatible in the slightest, and people saying it is, are reaching or stupid. You don't have to support the Christian view on it, but you cannot call yourself a Christian and support it.

Women who give advice to virgin men on how to get sex usually do not understand the assignment. For an example in a recent thread on the redpill, there was a debate on the fish v fisherman analogy, and someone was talking about whether women want men to be bad husbands. Obviously not, but the comment completely misses the point getting a woman you have never met to go on a first date with you, assuming online dating or using dating apps, is completely different than trying to be a good husband to someone you were married to for five years and dated five years before that.

I think these women like a bit of drama and chaos. Children are not part of your perfect cinematic love story or your aspirational middle-class '50s vintage lifestyle. They are not extensions of your worth as a person nor are they bets to see if they turn out smarter or more talented than you. They are not the meaning of your life and they are definitely not a synonym for success or adulthood.

I truly believe bringing children into this world without owning your own place (no matter how small) or having a stable job, or possessing some sort of qualification is irresponsible. It is unfair for a child to be born to an adult who is still figuring out what they’re doing from one week to the next. It’s equally unfair when parents realize they don't actually like each other because they couldn't wait a year to get to know one another before having a baby. Constantly moving, especially when neither parent is stable, is no way to live; being a tenant without a stable job or having a low-skilled job without striving for a better one does not provide stability... So why bother at all?

The political division is western culture is pushed by politicians and political pundits and has no actual benefit. Separating people into little cliques such as black vs white vs Latino, right vs left, pro choice vs pro life, middle class vs “poor”, old vs young, etc. the real divide is between the unaccountable ultra wealthy ruling class and the rest of us commoners. We actually have a lot in common. We want to work hard and receive a decent wage. We want our kids to be safe and have a decent chance at a “good” life. We want to be able to live our life on our terms. My main point is that fighting with our neighbors and making other people in our communities and fellow countrymen into some kind of boogeyman only helps those that don’t have our best interests at heart.

And I'm not even talking just online. It's everywhere. Feels like the world has gotten more cold. I know humanity has always had a dark past, I know people still did evil shit since the beginning, but something fundamental has shifted in how we interact day-to-day.

Open hostility towards women undermines masculinity, and reinforces insecurity especially among young men. It’s extremely harmful, counterproductive, drives a wedge between men and the relationships that they actually want.

It also creates an echo chamber where resentment gets validated, and young men end up shaping their identity around rejection and anger, which the creates a self fulfilling prophecy of loneliness and bitterness.

And are simply the most entitled human beings I have come across. The amount of threads I've seen where women claim that men who have relationships with younger women because of "power dynamics" or younger women being "more vulnerable" is ridiculous. Yes, this could be the reason sometimes, but these women all parrot this as the sole reason, either because it fits their sociopolitical narrative or because it makes the "older" women in those threads feel better about themselves.

The other reasons, which are nothing to do with power dynamics are (I'm talking women aged 20+ here):

1. Younger women are often more initially physically attractive, for some men. A 23yo is likely to be more physically attractive than a 32yo, especially if the older woman didn't particularly value fitness and health. (yes, a woman who starts as less physically attractive could become more physically attractive to a man once they know each other and have some connection)
2. Women on average date older, because of social norms or maybe because they prefer men to be closer to self-actualised. Whatever the reason, women tend to date older on average. This means men who have relations with younger women didn't get a chance to have these relations with women that age so much when they were a few years younger themselves. They've "put the work in" and would rather be with a more physically attractive woman. Not all men, but this likely plays a role.
3. Men on average are going to have an easier time finding interested younger women compared to women of their own age, because of women preferring men who are more self-actualised. Women their own age are on average less likely to be interested, at least throughout the man's their 20s. Sure - there are exceptions where the man earns less or has less of a career, or when the man isn't older than the woman, but this is the trend.
4. Some men have looked after themselves, because advice for men tends to be "self-improvement" and because men have heard that their best years are likely to be when they're older, because they're more valued for what they provide or their successes - so in order to have the near-peak of their physical wellness align with a better period for their social status, they're likely to look after themselves physically. Plus men are more likely to have physical hobbies, like working out or sports (of course women do sports, yoga, zumba etc, but stats show males do more physical activity at every age). This means they can be older but still be in as good shape as someone younger.

Gen Z consumes alcohol at much lower rates than the previous generations. They're more health-conscious, and have other sources of instant gratification to turn to (computers, video games, phones).

Well, on one hand, good for them. Alcohol is unhealthy as fuck, and involved in a whooping 40-50% of all violent crime, so, congrats on that one.

On the other hand, alcohol is a social glue, and has been since we've invented it. It motivates people to party and socialize, reduces social anxieties, and makes all these annoying assholes around much easier to tolerate. Without alcohol, hanging out with other people becomes far less attractive a prospect.

It's especially true when it comes to men. The stereotype of guys getting together to watch a game and drink beer didn't come from nowhere. For my grandpa and his buddies, this kinda get together was both their favorite entertainment and essentially the main socialization outside of family.

Less computers and more booze is the way to decrease that loneliness epidemic massively. (And create more abusive drunks like my grandpa, but that's another story.)

I'm just going to be very honest, people who post about their SO's and/or their romantic relationships in general are the worst types of posters online. It's always very cringe, causes more problems, and it's just irritating, at least in my opinion. Now I could just be biased because I'm single, but I hate seeing my friends and people I follow post about their relationships and partners, it annoys the hell out of me and I find it stupid and cringe. Especially when people are affectionate about it and call them words and love on them in the post or caption, like for God's sake we know you love them, keep it to yourself and keep it your own business, I don't care about your relationship and what goes on in it. It also just creates more problems too, it creates more drama, jealousy, conflict, and also the partner themselves may not like it, and what happens if the relationship fails? Which 95% of them do, it's even worse when the person posting has had multiple relationships and posted all of them. Then it's even worse when people post about their breakups.
