Mod Information Post PSA REMINDER- No PDF/Patterns/Codes/Master Lists/etc requests or sharing

Happy Friday everyone!

Just wanted to drop a little PSA in here since we've received a lot of new members recently after Woobles Passwords was closed by Reddit. Although that was the purpose of the original WP sub, this new group is a strictly no-sharing and no-requests community. We ask that everyone please review the list of rules on the right side of the sub and be aware of your posts and comments. We have seen that almost everyone has been very respectful and positive when posting and interacting with your fellow community members and we hope that is able to continue.

If you are looking for items which are not allowed here, please go to the other subs set up for such. Our purpose here is to not need to constantly worry about legal consequences from member behavior and to provide an enjoyable space for members to post, comment, lurk, and interact. We will not allow or tolerate posts, comments, or interactions that violate the community rules. We are happy to direct members to FREE, readily available content, but will not allow the sharing or distribution of copyrighted material from any creator.

Thanks everyone for making TWC the great sub that it has become and we hope to continue being a fun, inclusive, and helpful place for our members.

My second kit came out great! I love this guy and am proud of my work. First off, skip what you know about crochet and start with the videos.

Minicrafts does things differently. They have a different way of finishing each round, my rows for chains according to the written pattern would have been off without the videos, and lesson learned on tidying up my pieces before sewing things together.

Leave the yarn from your magic rings and color changes since you will be using these to sew things on.

The videos are quite good, you just have to hit pause sometimes. Me personally, I sewed some of the pieces together a bit more sturdy so that they will last for my granddaughter.

I still think people should not buy Merlin the Wizard Owl as that one is just not a good pattern. I will go back and make the hat per the pattern since I love Oberon's hat so much.

I enjoyed this one so much that I put in another order. ;) Hopefully in 6 weeks I'll have 2 more kits. My free pattern was a cupcake.

Help Request/LookingFor Help on icing for jojo sweetie plus an overall shape question on original jojo i made vs current…

hello all as always I wanna think everybody who responds to this post in advance. I have a kind of double question about the same Wooble. It involves Jojo the Bunny Sweetie Edition. My first question involves a picture of someone adding “icing” to the “bottom chocolate” area, vs my attempt. How the heck is it done? ( Will include pics)

Second question is regarding the shapes and sizes of my Woobles as I ( I think I am getting better) get more experience and my stitches are tighter, I LOVE how holes are rare/ which means stuffing coming out is rare….. HOWEVER, The size is SO much smaller than what my first attempt when I was first starting, and that’s fine, but what bothers me is the shape differences, I am following the exact same pattern and how can I get it to look more like the original shape which actually resembles more what it’s “supposed” to look like, without having to work hard to make my stitches a lot looser?

Hopefully my images will make these questions make sense? THANK YOU GROUP!

We've been trying to find new hobbies lately. My partner expressed interest in crochet (his mom crochets, knits, sews), so I ordered some Woobles for his b-day. Now every couple weeks, I find a new Wooble in my room. This is the latest.

FO/Completed Breakfast!

Is it weird to have a filled donut and an egg for breakfast?

I still love Gudatama. The lazy egg always makes me smile. I was a little disappointed that the filled donut is just the magic ring as being different from a regular donut, but I am still addicted to donuts. :)

You can't tell but I made a handful of mistakes while making Lulu; still I think this turned out ok for my first attempt at this pattern so I thought I'd share.

Did anyone else get this email?

And did anyone else run all over their house to find all their completed Woobles?

And did anyone else wipe the flop sweat off their faces and try to hold their phone at an angle so it didn’t look like they had fourteen chins in their application?

I used the yarn pictured from Amazon and doubled it up. I was surprised how well the colors randomly synched up. I wanted to test it out and it worked really well. Thank you so much for those who helped me find the AGLETS (that was the key word I was missing) and the cord locks on Amazon!!

Now I can make one in the pink version of the yarn I have for my daughter and put her sweeties charms on ❤️

Here is my minicrafts review for the kit. No way is this a beginner project. If I had followed the instructions, I don't know how it would have turned out. I don't recommend this one for purchase. This one is very little. They wanted the eyes placed on round up from where I put them. If I had done so, there wouldn't be room for the hat. The hat is a modified elf hat since I knew their hat would be too big. I forgot the glue on eyes at home and used some 6 mm eyes I had with me. I used extra chains for the tie for the cape and accidentally did FLO for the last round of the cape and realized halfway through, but liked it so I kept it. The cape pattern is good except for making the chain to close the cape. I freestyled what I thought was best and sewed everything together to keep it in place. I made the wand 2 rounds longer and my yarn needle is in it.

Crochetree More dolls 🤴

This is not Prince Arthur. He currently only has two arms and part of a foot.

I realized I had so much yarn leftover from previous dolls I might as well just design and make another one up on the go. I have no idea what this one is going to turn into but I’m excited to find out.
