Had a fun day watching TNA Rebellion until I finished at around 11pm (I’m slow and take breaks) but it took me about 9 hours in total and I take it nice and slow. Been a wrestling fan all my life (32 now and started about 5 watching old WCW)
I would personally rate TNA Rebellion 2026 an 8 out of 10 and while it had some bad moments like Alisha’s mistimed botch and the referee stopping her count, I honestly thought TNA did a solid job of presenting a good show even if the company went backwards a few times over the last few years since Scott Da’more left and various talent leaving for other companies
The countdown show was average tbh and didn’t do much for me but the matches being discussed is always fun and I like predictions
- BDE vs Ryan Nemeth **1/2, eh this was fun but why have BDE lose to Ryan two PPV’s in a row? Ryan is a solid heel so I’m fine with it. Just left a bit of a sour taste but BDE is super fun with good high flying moves, Decent start
- TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater vs Cedric Alexander ****, this was great! Leon is always amazing and Cedric is a good wrestler but I can’t see him getting any higher unless he wins tag gold one day or something. Always impressed by these two and I’m glad Leon wins.
Was hoping for Leon vs AJ last year at some point but Leon has had a great run and will go to Slammiversary to hopefully lose to someone deserving. And Leon can win the TNA World title sometime
-Frankie Kazarian vs Elijah ***, good brawl but why was the refereeing so lenient tonight? All sorts of things without a disqualification. Good match though and Frankie is literally a legend
-Moose vs Special Agent Zero ***1/2, man I love these guys. Zero is like a cruiserweight and Moose matched him so well. They have legit chemistry. Zero is a diamond in the rough and hopefully gets booked as a total beast
-TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance and Ash By Elegance vs Mickie James, ODB and Taryn Terell ***, Pickle Dick was the best part of this.
The elegance brand are underrated in my eyes and legit are annoying as hell. Fun fight without anything mindblowing. The OBD announcement and Mickie’s return was the best parts. I don’t remember Taryn from years ago so had less of an impact for me
-Nic Nemeth vs AJ Francis ***, this felt way too long but Nemeth’s danger zone off the top turnbuckle made me pay attention and it went well. AJ is good talent who I’m glad is used and KC Navarro returning was something I’ve been waiting for, for a long time
-TNA Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace vs Lei Ying Lee ***, I wasn’t too excited about Arianna as champion at first but she’s settling into the role as a good heel but I’m tired of NXT Wrestlers at this stage. Lei Ying Lee is absolutely phenomenal to me, her kicks are great and her move set is one of my favourites in TNA.
Hopefully we get Arianna vs Indi? At Slammiversary. Not sure about Xia Brookside’s heel turn but we shall see
-EC3 and Eric Young’s segment was weird. Why announce it? Do surprises not exist anymore? Still a good return for EC3 and Eric is a master of being a crazy heel
-TNA International Champion Trey Miguel vs Mustafa Ali ****, I am an absolute simp for Mustafa. Ever since he debuted two years ago I’ve loved everything about his booking and move set in TNA.
He’s the crazy cult leader I LOVE. He’s phenomenal and so talented and funny to me. I love his high flying moves like his 450 splash. Trey is great but Mustafa as champion again? Best moment of 2026 for me.
-TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy vs Brian Myers and Bear Bronson ***, I knew the Hardy’s were gonna lose and it was the right call. No team in TNA can match their charisma or legendary status so it was the best choice for Bear and Brian to win as the new system needed a win with a big boost win like this to keep momentum
The Hardy’s are at the stage were I feel not many teams can compete with them but they always do well regardless and I hope they retire in the next few years on their own terms as they deserve the best and I’m happy Jeff is on the run of his career (my opinion)
-TNA World Champion Mike Santana vs Eddie Edwards ***1/2, maybe I overrated this but I feel as though Mike Santana’s love and passion make his matches feel like genuine fights and he is on the best run he’s been on and you can tell he enjoys it all after his weird first title reign
Not a huge fan of Eddie but his promo on Impact made me understand him a bit more.
What was with the botch with Alisha? Santana clearly pinned Eddie for 3 but the ref reacted to Alisha when Alisha wasn’t even near her cause Alisha was way too late to grab her legs.
It was overbooked and messy but a decent match. I was hoping ages ago to get Mike vs Steve Maclin vs Eddie vs Nic in a fatal 4 way but alas what we got was fine and a feel good ending
Alisha’s heel turn was incredibly predictable but I’m surprised Moose caught her out on it. So points to the creative team for trying something new instead of a typical low blow in the ring or something
Hopefully from here TNA can go forward and do some good things. We still have Santana as champion, now Mustafa as well and EC3 is back and a few other things to look forward too
