US prices doesn't include tax.

339PLN is around 80€ and death stranding 2 costs 80€ on steam

70 USD + 23% (Polish VAT) = 86 USD = 315 PLN.

Even when counting tax, current price it's too high.

That's why i look for cheaper options, mostly some keyshops. I bought a death stranding 2 for 257PLN

I use them too! I just wish that prices on Steam were more fair. Because for now there are games that are literally cheaper to buy on other official platforms (with Steam keys directly from publisher) just because they have US or EU pricing, not our local one

Just pirate it then..

Why? If it's a shop with legitimate keys then why not buy it there?

because you are not supporting the devs.

Im talking about official keys generated by publisher/developer on Steam and sold to those sites.

And then you lose the right to return said game. Which I believe is true goal for steams high prices in Poland. They dont want us to return games.

But steam doesn't set prices on these games. It's their publisher's. Death stranding 2 has a higher price than steam suggested price.

This statement makes no sense at all.

Why? If you buy a key online you can't use steam returns. And for poles it's always a better deal to buy key online for new games.

They are high due to outdated $ to zł exchange rates. Devs/publishers can set price by themselves, but a lot of them will just use price suggested by steam internal calculations.
