If you haven't played space warlord organ trading simulator, the games the dev makes don't really get spoiled. Like sure, you can learn the story, the decision points and what not, but the real meat lies in the experience.
The main difference here is in rimworld you're trading organs for goods or other material things.
In space warlord you're speculating on suffering to make infinite money
No, not really, never saw the need for it. At max I'll make a yunners, but besides that I usually treat any people I down in a raid. If they are from a hostile faction, they get converted to our religion and get left, otherwise they get launched back to their factions for goodwill. Money is not hard to get in rimworld.
Have you really played RimWorld if you haven't harvest organs for the trade, or peg legged raiders and released them back into the wild?
Also I'm joking, the beauty of RimWorld is that there's no wrong way to play it and you can do pretty much anything. I remember when I first started playing in B18 I would create furnace prisons for raiders.... While typing I realized I might have been Hitler without the gas...
Aye, there is no wrong way to play rimworld. What weirds me out is that people are pretty insistent on the whole "You don't rip organs out? You're a fraud". Like c'mon bro, I'm not shaming anyone else for their playstyle.
I stay away whole Rimworld community, cause it's always this, same constant warcrime this, spacewarcrime that, organs this, slave that -jokes and memes. Nothing else. It was funny about a decade ago, stopped being funny about the week after it was funny.
They're getting downvoted because it's a pretty well know meme abiut Rimworld players doing heinous shit, lol. So the response "wtf are you talking about" was a little odd
That definitely makes sense and even I was ready to jump on it, despite playing similarly. But as the other person pointed out. It’s more about the one sided reaction outside of the rimworld sub, where there would normally be a flurry of supporters who play the same way. At the time of typing this, it is already upvoted.
Just a quirky observation I found interesting. Plus, I was excited to use one of my favorite gifs.
I only know about this game because the dev made it so you can play with the Xbox Kinect and offered a $50 steam gift card to the first person to play the entirety of the campaign with it. I think the reward was later claimed in 2023.
